We had one in 2002! We took it to car shows and it was a daily driver! I loved that huge car! Ours was the cream color with black vinyl top. Was supposed to be mine when I turned 16 but my dad decided to sell it. So many great memories!
Quite the car. My grandmother had one in this very color. It ran forever. Most, don't recall the Delmont or confuse it for the Delta 88. Believe it was only produced in '67 & '68. As with most Olds from the era, it was top-notch.
I was with my day back in 1967 at the dealership buying one . 330 ultra high compression. 2- speed jetaway transmission 4- door ever since then my father was always Oldsmobile same with myself big blocks 425 c.i. & small block 330 c.i. I became pretty good at building those motors had 18 different models all together always saving drive trains...
Dad had one but a convertible, and good ole Teddy also did , drove it into the water a nice summer day in 69'??
