I was watching Final Destination movies when I thought of Heb 9:27 and found this video. Truly sobering verse. This world is not always like frat boys on spring break at a Mardi gras party.
Luke 13:1-5 New Living Translation A Call to Repentance 13 About this time Jesus was informed that Pilate had murdered some people from Galilee as they were offering sacrifices at the Temple. 2 “Do you think those Galileans were worse sinners than all the other people from Galilee?” Jesus asked. “Is that why they suffered? 3 Not at all! And you will perish, too, unless you repent of your sins and turn to God. 4 And what about the eighteen people who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them? Were they the worst sinners in Jerusalem? 5 No, and I tell you again that unless you repent, you will perish, too.”
If it Is appointed for man to only die once and after that comes the judgement. Why did Jesus in Matthew 10:8 commissioned his disciples to raise the dead, not only will they die twice but will be judged twice. Lucky for those who have died a sinner and not repented they now have a chance to be saved, and those who have died who are saved could backslide and loose salvation. Doesn't make an iota of sense.
1Co.13:12For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. Be encouraged!
If the writer of Hebrews is saying that we only live once then it's judgment, he is 100% going against the teachings of Jesus about reincarnation. John 3 and John 9 Matthew 17 is Jesus teaching reincarnation of the spirit. Hebrews chapter 9 is talking about the death of sin, the service for atonement is explained into details. Sorry pastor but you need to study more
