I live in Tucson, in Arizona. I grew up here. It’s a beautiful place here, though the heat is frustrating. It’s definitely a laid back lifestyle here too. There is a lack of opportunity, so I would like to move to California someday. It is too expensive for me at the moment, I would have to save up quite a bit to even rent there.

One of the reasons Arizona ranks low in K-12 education is because of freedom. The Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit allows Arizona taxpayers to give to AZTO and receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against your Arizona Income Taxes. AZTO then issues tuition awards to eligible students attending one of AZTO's participating schools. This goes against the grain of public education system!

Crowded beaches and a pain in the ass to get to them too many people everywhere yes nice if you can afford to live there but even to visit dealing with road rage is not worth it.

AZ = Big house in the middle if nowhere
CA = Small house in the middle of everything.

I’m investing in AZ. Live in San Diego County. Selling a home in SD for property rentals in AZ. If I stay in CA I have to have another game plan with rentals. CA is beautiful but very bad bad government control.
You right about the mountains of AZ. I honestly think they are better. Honestly can’t believe Californians ain’t talking about it. Just my opinion, the taxes we pay are not worth the outdoor activities we have. The politicians absolutely exploit that and bank on you not leaving.

I truly love the outdoors in both places. But for me what gives california the edge is getting to enjoy it all year round

Investing in AZ is a terrible idea… you do know that the place will be uninhabitable within the next 20 years right? We’re gonna reach easily 120 degrees in May by then

@@bricelevai8520don’t be a troll already did and ran my numbers very positive output. Also I don’t have my assets in the valley either. I’m in northern AZ. Enjoy the heat down there. I’m cashing in on the tourism that heads to the mountains from the folks in the valley.

I love some areas of California like San Diego but the cost to live there and the stress it puts on you is no small matter. SO unless you have a super high salary or large wealth, I think Arizona is better for most as long as you can deal with the summer heat and the dry landscapes.

Definitely pros and cons to both. Like it sounds like you did, people just need find out what they can live with and I hope this video helps make the differences clear.

Love SoCal. My hometown of SD. Live now in AZ and like others have said if you are established in Socal, wealthy or have a GREAT career i stay there. However if you are like most Phoenix/AZ gives you a better chance to own/invest/save etc.. also depends were you live in Socal becuase if you are living in Shell Town, Logan Heights etc i prefer AZ 100 out 100 times lol
