For clarification for those who dont know the subtitle: every Japanese Rockman game has a subtitle. This one is “Metal Heros”, which correlates with the opening “Electrical Communication” (the superior Megaman 8 opening)
He also the Japanese voice of flame hynerd and tornado tonion in MegaMan X7 along commander yamark and infinity mjionion in X6, Daffy Duck in Japanese dubs of looney tunes, obito in Naruto, and Garfield in some Japanese dubs of Garfield cartoons.
Fun fact: the English translation took a few liberties here and there (mostly on boss quotes). Like Aquaman saying "That was luck!" when defeated in ENG while he simply says "Goodbye!" in JPN (albeit with a funny/cute voice).
I like how the JP voice has these stereotypical verbal tics like Tengu Man’s “gozaru” (considering his stage is on Japan, appropriate) and Aqua Man’s “-poyon” is like the Japanese onomatopoeia for water jiggling around in a plastic bag or so.
And also caggnazo in 3D remake of finally final fantasy IV, joker in the 90s Batman animated series Japanese dub, and jinmen in the original devil man anime series too.
This game is better than what some say it is. Mega Man truly belongs in the 8-bit era but was a nice retro style game play on a 32-bit console. Just Dr. Wily stage one was annoying with the jumps and slides.
I absolutely adore Mega Man 8, but the NES Mega Man games are full of NES-era bullshit and are just pretty unbearable in general to me honestly. They aged like milk and I didn't like them all that much back then either.
8 doesn't really have anything too egregious in it, maybe the Wily 1 board section, but games like MM2 get praised like nothing else in spite of awful design like Quick Man's stage or Boobeam Trap. I guess nostalgia and telling people what to think goes a long way for Mega Man.
@@jitensha5231 I almost thought that ryo hirohashi voiced megaman in this game since megaman sounds very similar to tails but these 2 actress sounded similar
We got the half-ass butcher US version with horrible english dubing, missing intro and ending songs. I was lucky enough to download the Japanese version on the Japanese PSN on my PS3 and holy hell I preferred the Japanese version instead of the half-ass US version
Might be a mind illusion here, but to me the Japanese Rockman 8 has more action and spice than our Mega Man 8....... it's like Mega Man 8 with a LOT OF WASABI added!!!!!
The intro is way better than that generic $hit I heard back in the late 90s on my PS1. Also, crazy that the PS1 was released in 1994.....I was still on my 16 bit consoles until the Dreamcast LOL....
Hi, World of Longplays Is it possible to play every single games on every platforms with 100% completion? All collectible item, max stats, secrets, or everything as much as possible in games, etc.

krystalfan WE MUST STAP DAKTA WAHWEE
I think electrical communication looks better with the visuals but the US opening is the better song overall but it doesn't look good with the visuals
@@ZrainF91 tbf this version (on the long play) is pitched down, most likely to avoid copyright. you should def give the normal version a listen
@@MegaKirb i have???
Wow, this intro song seems much stronger than the american one. I like the chorus🎸🎸
By the way, this game has brillant, legendary songs
Fun Fact: Frost Man's JP voice actor is also the voice actor of Okuyasu from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4
He also voices Eikichi Onizuka from Great Teacher Onizuka
The voices Kantokku from Kyoryuger
He is also obito uchiha and lei wu long in teklen 2
He also the Japanese voice of flame hynerd and tornado tonion in MegaMan X7 along commander yamark and infinity mjionion in X6, Daffy Duck in Japanese dubs of looney tunes, obito in Naruto, and Garfield in some Japanese dubs of Garfield cartoons.
Love the fact that even Japanese Dr. Light can pronounce "Waly" the right way
Ikr? Lololol
Light in the Japanese version is know as right
Uai-ri, that’s the romanji way.
This is first game I played when my parents gave me PSX console in 2007 in Christmas.
That's a fantastic gift. This game is awesome.

Me & The Boys: You lose Kid!
Kid: 37:40
The voice of Aquaman sounds familiar...
edit: did some research... it's Agumon O:!
2024 and this game still looks beautiful
Amazing how the voice acting alone can improve or hinder the experience. So much better now that Mega Man doesn't sound like an 8 year old girl
Dr. Wily's laugh is much funnier in the Japanese dub than in the English dub.
0:30 록맨8 오프닝: electrical communication

Rockman 8 it back in 2026 years for the watching anime tv series show the episode 1-48 in 24.29 for watching tv

@@jamesbutlerx64 That's actually my favorite part of the game. I never struggled with it the way many folks do.
Megaman sounds nearly identical to tails in the Japanese version
Megaman’s VA voiced Quatre in Gundam Wing as well as Ryoko in Tenchi Muyo.

Does the legacy collection have this option or is it just the localised version?
@@CornishCreamtea07 you can play the Japanese version on legacy collection 2, however I believe the opening and ending songs are missing.

What missing intro and ending songs? The english version got its own, better ones. The dub isn't even bad, except for Light's shitty acting.
