- Three civilians had been killed and eight more injured after a Ukrainian missile struck a restaurant in Donetsk city, Denis Pushilin, the Russian-installed head of east Ukraine's Donetsk region, said in a statement posted on the Telegram messaging app.
Donetsk, which fell under the control of Russian-backed separatists in 2014, regularly came under Ukrainian shelling after Moscow ordered tens of thousands of troops into Ukraine in February 2022, but became more secure after Kyiv's troops were forced from its outskirts earlier this year.

And they are real russians , about 40% percent of ukraine speak russian most of them in the east and crimea as i recall
Most Ukrainians speak russian due to soviet Russification programs. Yet the majority of the donbas population is ethic Ukrainian.

There was an earlier strike of where Russian military and pro-Russian secessionists gathered to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of "referendums" held on May 11 in 2014 for these oblasts. It was reportedly done by a HIMARS strike. I'm pretty sure this was it.
We used to see Givi feeding patches to prisoners and Telegraph showed us the Russian torture chambers. At least we see the perpetrators dinners getting interrupted now.
These were Russian military and pro-Russian secessionists that came together to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the May 11 "referendums" from 2014.
The terror happening in Donetsk is how Russia is completely leveling towns such as Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, etc. Ukraine striking military and terrorists is not the same thing as Russia targeting hospitals, apartments and schools.
