    Valentine might be one of the few people able to rank game birds from first to worst in terms of how good they are to deep fry? Can’t think deep-fried pheasant is that great but would be great to know your thoughts

    I still contend that Geeta's mango chutney is one of the best jars of stuff to be plucked from a supermarket shelf. Her chilli pickle is also excellent, but really intense.
