@@Cyberse-_-Wolf Its a shame there isnt a proper solo bot mode to test your deck out with, apart from the pre-configured story missions. I get a bit nervous playing pvp as im a yugi-noob.

Hey just wanted to say thanks for this, went from the bottom of the ladder to gold winning about 70% of my matches( and definitely choked some games because I didn't know how the deck fully worked), and it felt really consistent and good to play. Thanks for all the helpful content, as coming back after not playing for years was really daunting before I found this channel.

As someone who last played full YuGiOh (i.e. not Duel Links) when XYZ monsters were still new & shiny, I appreciate this deck's inclination towards control over combo. I may not have the brain-training to track/pilot these newfangled combo lists, but I've played enough control/counterspell decks across all games to appreciate the power of a well-timed negate. I ended up building your full list and I'm really enjoying piloting it, I appreciate the not just the list but the breakdowns to better understand how each card fits in a kinda modular way to make tweaking/improving the deck easier.

I built this on your recommendation and am enjoying it quite a lot. I've had a number of matches where people have just surrendered within the first couple of turns, once they see what i'm running and after a few negates. lol
Love the vids just some thought. When doing a deck video guide, the square on the left side of the screen covers up the text of what the card you're going over does. It'd be nice to be able to read the cards effects.
Also it would be awesome to have gameplay of the deck or even just a separate video of combos/gameplay of the deck, gotta milk the likes and for newer players like myself, id rather watch the person giving the list do the combos then go and search someone else out.
Just thought I'd share my thoughts. Ive really been enjoying your Duel Masters content!

This deck has unfortunately changed a bit. You can now only have 2x Skill Drain and 1x Conquistador of the Golden Land.. Need an update! ;)
I've just got to absolutely thank you Solemn, I'm more of a GOAT format player myself and the complexity of modern combo decks make my head hurt, but this deck is exactly what I was looking to get to play ranked in Master Duel. In just 2 days of playing and tinkering with this deck, I'm in a 23 duel win streak and already in Platinum Tier 5 without spending a single cent of IRL money. Love the deck, the video was very useful and most of all I'm having as much fun as playing GOAT.

@@solemnyugioh Here's un update! I'm absolutely destroying tri-smth decks and I haven't lost a match. They summon an 4k attack monster and just torrential tribute/ kaiju and they're gone. The only down side is, I haven't EVER taken my enemy to 0 hp...they always surrender. Your deck is just too good! Do they always quit for you?

@@hydrowolf363 well if the enemy won't surrender then just use gustav and supperjuggernaut liebe and if they are not dead yet then just stack zeus on top and then they would either surrender or just beat them with zeus
I won my first match with this deck plus a couple of cards more but at start I had no idea what to do 😂 so a gameplay with this deck would be great 👍🏼
Recommendation: Fog blade is like forbidden chalice but its a continuous trap so you can also send it to the GY later to summon Edlich. It's also a R for some reason too.
So you would remove the 3x forbidden chalices to add 3 fog blades?
@@longvo2526 that’s how I play my own stun Eldlich deck. It’s situationally better with it since you don’t care about interacting with your opponent on your turn with a trap deck most of the time anyway. Came up a few times. You just need to make sure to send Fog blade to the GY to summon Eldlich because you can’t target monsters equipped with fog blade for an attack.

I pulled Eldlich + other 3 cards in this deck from the free pull by crafting.
I combined some stuff from both decks and honestly both are really F2P friendly I was able to craft all of the cards I needed. Thank you so much, this deck is actually godlike its really good and pretty easy to play.
This was wildly helpful. I'm a caveman player, so anything beyond synchro is mind-bending to me still. Went from getting cleaned every duel in the lowest rank, and now sitting in gold. The deck practically pilots itself, and it's a lot of fun. Thanks for posting, I almost dropped the game before trying this list.

As a returning player from ~2007, really enjoying this deck and have a ~15-2 record. So many people surrender when skill drain is flipped. Very satisfying
When I first logged in I bought a few packs with gems, found the azure and ivory and bought 20+ packsand built a crazy Blue-Eyes deck - it can be pretty crazy early game with lucky pulls
Tbh though after building the tri brigade killa deck I regret all the Blue Eyes packs lmao

There are actually a couple very powerful extra deck monsters for this deck which alongside a single other UR can open some avenues.
Number 35 Ravenous Tarantula, Number 84 Pain Gainer and Number 77 The Seven Sins. Tarantula and Pain gainer are N rarity and Seven sins is a R.
What do they do? They all rank up into each other and you can stack Zeus on top at the end after attacking with the 4k beater that is seven sins.

I have most of the other cards besides the Eldlich ones and I just had to buy 3 packs to get all of it. It's not that hard to learn the combos and once you get used to it, enemies kept surrendering midway through due to negations xD I immediately got 3 winstreaks already due to surrenders. What luck lol.
Edit: WHOA, I was at Gold IV and immediately jumped to Platinum V because of a 5 win streak, you were right! Dude, thank you so much for this awesome deck! I really want to invest a bit more on this one! :D Really recommend everyone to try this deck out!
I kept winning with this deck up to silver 1, and then i cant pull skill drain ever.
@@GoldenWhistle skill drain is really good but since it's not Eldlich themed, you just have to really on RNG to pull it. I guess that's one of the reasons why the upgraded deck has 5 "pot of" cards to help with that
@@_chadrose it's like the most important control card, especially when enemy keeps bringing out monsters. I guess the rank system wont allow me to pull that card.
@@GoldenWhistle Out of my 5 games I mentioned, I remember only pulling it out twice. The most of the other games I just use Eldlich Zombie Traps that either destroy essential enemy cards (ie: Eternal Soul for Dark Magician decks) or remove key cards from grave (ie: Sky Striker's Rave)
It took me a bit to get used to the combos and what I could do with this deck, but I'm sure you will get the hang of it too!
@@_chadrose probably just got unlucky that the enemy that I face can keep pulling monster out of no where , too quick and too fast.

I just downloaded the game on my pc. Last time I played Yugioh was in like 8th grade. Been on Hearthstone and wanted to take a break. Thank you.
Just to state I tried this myself after some poor pulling choices, and still managed to have enough to dust to make this. Been going well so far, pulled a few times on the Vampire secret set, and nearly have the final version you showed.
I'm thinking of mixing in a El Dorado Adelantado or two as a panic button/send Lord back to they GY/prevent deck out, and maybe even a Guardian (but I know I should hang onto Huaquero for denying my opponents GY tactics).
Even pulled one of the Drymech-dragon things that fans are raving about. Fingers crossed!
While some ppl having fun with Eldlich deck, I’m also having fun destroy their Eldlich deck with my Tramid deck lol.
If you decide to play a more archetype focused budget deck(arguably more fun) and you run into another Eldlich player, you have a solid win condition by lowering the enemies Eldlich atk to 0 with the trap monster nobody uses, and then wait with destroying it until you can immediately banish it from the GY with Huaquero
Since you got 3 Eldich Kings and most Eldlich player got only 2.. the mirror matchup goes from "ok how to win this... we can't really close each other out of the game" to "as soon as he notices what i am trying to do with his Eldich kings.. it's too late already"
This means nothing to me. I wish I knew more. I played yugioh during a simpler time. I really admire the direction its taking becoming very technical. I'm have 10k gems and im afraid to spend em because I don't trust my ability to judge a good deck rn.
@@corywittamori896 find good cheap decks that teach you the mechanics easily. Lunalights, sky strikers, prank-kids are really fun and easy that teach you about the game. I would definitely suggest spending about 2k/3k on just a random fun deck as saving the gems means nothing if you're not having fun which would lead to you quitting. Good luck 👍

Let me explain what i mean in the simplest way possible
Eldlich decks do not have huge special summon combos like almost all other strong decks.. infact, Eldlich decks in Master Duel try to stop the enemy from special summoning in various ways
It is basically a "I try to mess up your gameplan" deck
But of course, the deck needs some sort of win condition after all, which would be the Eldlich Lord(also used in combination with his trap monsters to interrupt the enemy throughout the game)
The Eldlich lord can summon itself from the graveyard, that is why you almost always have him to close out the game after denying your enemies actions
SO, if you face another Eldlich player, all the permanent "Nobody can use effect/special summon" effects barely matter, because the deck does not do that in the first place = Your gameplan changes. There is a trap monster in this deck you can use to ban cards from the enemy graveyard. If you manage to ban all the Eldlich Lords in the enemies posession while you still got at least 1, then you basically won the game.
Most Eldlich decks play 2 Lords and often only 2 of the trap monsters you need to ban cards from the enemy graveyard
If you face a ton of Eldlich decks, you might want to consider that 3. Eldlich Lord

@@gustavoroque8830 It is a card game with 11k cards... there is no "best possible eldlich deck"
I, for example, like to go first and make sure to get at least 1 floodgate card out before the enemy can even think of comboing
And i immediately want to be able to protect that floodgate card with a counter trap and close out the game as fast as possible
Most eldlich decks interrupt a part of the enemies combo, hope for the best, and outvalue the opponent in the "long" run (More like midgame run... there are no long games anymore), but i do not like that in master duel, so i keep pot of extravagance and 2-3 Maxx "C" to outperform in the 1. and 2. turn, but i cut card of demise for example
You see, it is up to you.. you will find many good expensive Eldlich variations on the web, just stick to the Master Duel guides..due to the weird ban list
"Floodgate is an unofficial term for a card with a continuous effect that restricts one or both players from performing some action."
I’m in Platinum with Domain Monarch, you get harshly punished if you misplay or open really bad, but it’s easy to use once you know how and really flexible with the search’s, cheap to make (in gems) as you get some of the cards at the beginning.
If someone makes you go second and locks you out, it’s a ball ache to play over with anything so monarchs are a fair shout.
Monarchs was my thing playing back then, feels great to know it’s not trash here
@@horuzz2009 you don’t need me to tell you this but don’t bend the archetype to attempt to play round common opponents either, there isn’t the room for things like hand traps and it really can’t handle the drop in consistency.
You just base the build on the assumption you will be doing first and do your best from there.

Eldlich has been an absolute blast to play. Also pretty simple for someone coming back to the game
Made this, its tight. Switched a few cards and added a third eldlich for the laughs
For the extra deck id say at the least craft some usable common and rare rank 5 and 8 xyz monsters to use with your trap mons and golden lord. They arent neccessary but they can really help out long term. Otherwise this list is spot on. I actually was going to craft eldlich this morning before insaw this now im going to just nake thr budget version to test how well i can pilot it. Thanks again !

After finding mild success with pure Zoodiac, I decided to try another deck and gravitated towards the only one that has a 100% winrate against mine. After playing Eldlich for a couple games, I've never felt dirtier. I love it!
I followed this and your beginner guide and got to silver in the first day and I was able to make a decent thunder dragon deck too! Really cool

@@alessiop.576 but really just read ur card effects and what cards ur opponents use and active cards based on that its a really easy deck to get use and used to. Most of the time after a couple negates of opponents cards they just ff. Sorry i dont know card names to explain in any more detail 😅.

Love the guides seriously, but I was hoping if you could also point out that the meta isn't settled yet/the showering of gems we're getting WILL run out so we HAVE to be careful with our gems. A few trending posts on the MD subreddit have gained a lot of traction the last day going into detail about how even if you're semi-F2P, just how bad/expensive the in-game currency exchange is with real money, and how little gems you get once the initial free showering of gems is done.
There are too many people throwing their gems at random "fun decks" not realizing that when those gems are gone and when the meta settles and they **actually** want to build a top deck they're not going to have $150-$200 worth of free currency to build another one. I get all UA-camrs want to be the fastest person to upload to milk the views for a brand new game, but the above points ^ need to be mentioned more.

@Solemn YuGiOh, this deck got me to plat without a single loss. i made the extra deck more useful, R an N rank 5 xyz, some level 8 R synchros and 3 R chimera fortress. just got myself some upgrades for the deck, 3 maxx c, 3 infinite imper and a 3rd lich.

Wow, that actually looks nice and very Cheap. N/R/SR Crafting Material shouldnt be a problem and while playing a bit so should be the Eldlich.
I've seen this deck used far more then any other deck. It's mostly this deck, blue eyes, and sky strikers. Very annoying but easy to fight against once you know what to do and have a decent hand.
Which is the best card to craft to unlock the secret pack?

My height of physical tcg play was during DUEA with shaddolls. I've been putting together some old decks, like Blue-eyes and trains. I'll probably try this out since it looks to be pretty cheap to put together.

Eldlich is annoying to play against but its beatable and it doesn't feel hopeless to play against like some other decks so I appreciate it. Though I find I play against it more often than some of the other strong decks which is a little bothersome. Good budget deck though man.
so if you want to go bonkers on your extra deck and have unlimited budget:
3x Constellar Pleiades
3x Superdreadnaught Rail Cannon Gustav Max
1x Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder
3x Vampire Sucker
3x Link Spider
2x the other Superdreadnaughts
again, this is ultra non budget friendly suggestion as these are all URs haha

- Number 61: Volcasaurus (like a rank 5 version of Gustav, destroy an opponents monster to inflict burn dmg based on the destroyed monsters original atk) also only N rarity
- Skypalace Gangaridai (like a rank 10 version of Number 61: Volcasaurus, destroy an opponents card + 1000 burn damage) also only SR rarity
- Shiranui Shogunsaga (synchro using ash blossom and a huaq/conq. Just a 3000 beatstick) You get 3 of these free in the structure deck reward for beating the Spectre Slaying Flames solo mode campaign.
This deck has helped me so much I went and did his non budget with my craftables and I'm winning all the time

Another really good f2p trap is the Rare Card "Lost Wind"
As someone who spend hundreds on DL and never played much of the TCG, I'll probably remain F2P in Master Duels just because I dont wanna go crazy on digital cards like I did before. Got about 10k gems saved up rn and dont know what to make. I made a Synchron/Startdust Quasar deck I saw off a playmaker video. Solid deck, hard to play with a few UR's missing like a 3rd tuning, 2nd Ash, and a couple of key synchro's so I am looking for a F2P deck that can climb the rank easy thats also easy to play lol
If you want to climb I think a cyber dragon otk deck is really good (you can play first if you too but it's not the best). I crafted it and you can have your main deck quickly with the secret packs. Also the extra is very in archetype so you might get some important UR for "free". It also benefits from the free going second cards you get from the game + it's a legacy deck, so if you're an anime fan you'll probably like it.

So xyz, pendulum and link are an absolut mystery to me.
Tried this Game on Sunday and got to Gold 4 with Endymion Deck. But man i was always destroyed by people who summon 5 monster with atleast 3000atk or higher per turn.
Tried this budget deck just now with 3 eldlich, 2 blossom and 2 maxx c / man i was finally able to beat such people. Thanks alot for this detailed guide.
But i personally would have liked it if you had one Duel included to give some hints when to activate which card.
maybe something you can add for the extra deck: i picked some xyz cards where you require 2 or 3 level 5 monsters. since the trap cards you use are LVL 5 monsters makes it possible to do xyz summonings to. btw: awesome deck - in 2 days i'm from lowest rank to Gold 5
Great tip on how to get access to secret packs. I didn't know you could do it by crafting SR/UR

Thanks man. I really wanted to get my foot in the door for eldlich and didn't know where to start. I started with a blue eyes deck cuz I know the support is coming soon and it carried me to gold but platinum is far off for it.
Crafted this deck and got 1 free pull which gave me Vampire Sucker (and Dhampir for good measure)
Spent my gems like a noob and now I find out, after I set up my dream vampire deck, I could be pulling for both of these at once… well I’m gonna be breaking down a lot of cards.

I started off like I do in real live just mix and matching and saw it didn't work so now focusing on theme decks
I know it would add a lot of extra time and effort into your videos, but if you wouldn't mind adding at least a few minutes of gameplay footage with the deck so we can get a feel of how it should be played that would be wonderful.
Built prank kids out of your reccomendations and having a ton of fun with it! Might build this too after a while since building 2 decks hurt a bit

What I noticed on playing the game is that, Atleast in my own opinion. Every card you build in this game is budget XD.
I mean the staggering percentage of getting UR’s are insane! Again in my point of view.
I managed to build a BEWDeck with spares, Even Stardust and junk I didn’t even know I got. All in a freaking hour.
And the rank duels, I mean dudes and dudettes already have top decks even in bunny rank!
Yup, for now :))) Soon, those gems dry up and all these budget vids will become CRUCIAL if you want to build a new deck.

It feels like the game is giving us OP decks from the start and use that to climb up and gather more gems.
Im happy with this deck, i see people play it and im like. An eeasy duel. They use Eldlich effect, then i'll just follow up with a called by the grave. Usually surrender after that.
