They books are exactly the reason why I don’t like him. He believe he is the center of the world, the only one suffering , he think he can do everything by himself and don’t know how to communicate with people (His dad, Jeremiah, etc). I’m grateful that they changed him a bit on the show. I can feel empathy with the Conrad on the show. Let’s see how the S3 goes 🖤

See the smile im faking- perfectly explains her and jere. Jeres not a bad person he’s just not right for Belly. She has tried to convince herself otherwise and she has dug a deep hole that now feels hard to back out because of her own insecurities. She treated conrad like an idol for so long she never really thought it was possible he could love her back. Belly was the one holding back

I disagree. I believe that they had a stronger connection than her and Conrad, as she was always confident and happy when with Jere, but with Conrad it was too complicated. I love Conrad, but I don’t think he and Belly are right for eachother. He needs someone who truly loves him, not the idea of him.
