Someone's Cruel Behaviour Made These kittens Dig a Hole and Hide from People in it

- A mother cat and her kittens roamed a neighbourhood, bringing joy to some but concern to others who thought they made houses dirty. Residents fed them outside but never let them in. One day, the cat entered an irritable woman's backyard and accidentally harmed her chickens. Enraged, she scared the cat and her kittens, leaving them traumatized. The mother cat dug a hole for safety and started living in it with her kittens.
Later, we found them, fed them, and learned their story. The woman's cruelty had left the cat scared. We decided to take them home, as the neighbourhood wasn't safe.

You cannot be surprised if someone was angry if their chicks were harmed. The problem is there are too many cats without home. It's a situation that will cause friction as cats do cause damage if hungry. Thank you for finding room for this family.

Cats are not more important than people. Stray cats DO make a house dirty if they are not housebroken. Their urine has high amounts of ammonia and their feces are certainly germy. Stray cats usually have fleas, possibly worms. Why are you not also compassionate towards people who feed them outside? They don't have to feed them at all. The old woman needed her chickens for food too. The cats killed her livestock. She was trying to teach the cats to stay out of her yard. She could have poisoned them....many people do....but instead she showed them her yard was not their home. Cats can be very persistent about killing birds and small pets. I don't think she did anything wrong and, while I'm glad you were able to give these cats a home, you should also learn compassion for people as well.
Though I’m a huge cat lover, you speak the truth. They are an invasive species. Stray cats can and will decimate livestock, as well as rodent populations. Which upsets the ecosystem by leaving less prey for foxes, owls, and other woodland critters.
