For some reason, the bottom front grill styling on the SE blends in better with the front of the car compared to the XSE trim. The SE to me is more attractive.
Still using light bulbs in 2025 is insane. The SE shown here has a bunch of options like the convenience package, cold weather package, multimedia upgrade, and power tilt sunroof (all of which come standard with the XSE), bringing the MSRP about $300 more expensive than the base XSE. So, unless you like the look of the black grille, the XSE is a much better value.
Not really insane it’s smart easy to change some cars you need to replace the whole dang light unit some cost upwards of 1200 bucks when the led goes no thanks simple to change over to led bulbs
@@joshuawang5859it’s actually a blessing though, because when the incandescent turn signal burns out you just have to replace the bulb instead of whole housing and they aren’t cheap.
I’ve seen two 2025 models on the road so far, both SE’s. I will say it doesn’t look like a new car. It blends right in with the 2024 model. I guess this red color could help it stand out more, however if you’re coming from the previous Camry, a lot of people might not notice that you bought a new car.
For whatever reason that 0-60 sounds semi close to a Crown Vic 0-60, at least in this video lol. I love my vic but 17 years in the rust belt she's getting due. A Camry is likely next on my list :) .
I’m not a fan either. Greater chance of a blowout going over potholes. Saw a video of a guy with his 2025 XSE with the 19inch wheels that already had a blowout after hitting a pothole on the highway.
I don’t see any difference between the new 9th gen, 2025 and the 2024 model, other than the fact that you can get AWD. Ow. The SE is definitely the middle ground model. It is not as nice as the XLE or XSE but it is nicer than the base LE. At least the SE won’t break the bank. With some upgrades in my build I have it at 36,000 but since I see no difference, might as well safe a bit I found some 2024’s for 30,000
Just had my ‘23 Camry in the shop for scheduled maintenance. Was talking to the tech advisor and said I really like the new ‘25s. He said nice refresh but to wait a year or two to buy one. He said the handful of new ones theyve sold have been coming in left and right riddled with issues. Nothing major.
I test drove the se it is very quiet great acceleration but the driver seat lumbar support was horrible. I mean a deal breaker. It felt like hard plastic pushing into my back. Hopefully the le or xle is better.
Why do so many new cars only offer black trim around windows and other places? and who ever said black wheels are ever attractive? The black trim and wheels make the cars look SO cheap, and so entry-level looking! Subaru did it with the Legacy and is now killing off what is otherwise a great car...hope the same fate doesn't follow for the Camry!
2025 is using 5th gen hybrid system, u now get optional hybrid AWD, stronger electric motors, slightly lighter, better throttle response, and lower NVH.
I haven't driven the prior gen. But I can tell you most of us regular guys will enjoy the quick response. They estimate the total torque to be around 300 for the FWD models. 163 & 150ish from the electric motors. The passing power is more than aquatic.
I wish they would do something with those sun visors, they still have those cheap, slide out cards that do nothing. Not too thrilled with the fabric interior trim, especially the seats, it's in the wrong place, and those light bulbs. SMH. Car still sounds noisy.
Gas mileage according to your specs is around 46 MPG for this SE AWD, but early on in the video the car's dash display showed an MPG of 33.5!! Buyer beware, I say....
@@CarConfections There are only 1154 miles on the car, so some variability can be expected, but a difference of 12 MPG? Make a note of this please, for when you get a production car to review closer to the date of release...

I'm a less is more proponent and feel the LE is more to my liking. I like everything about it, that said, I stumbled across(literally) a major issue. If you have a compromised back, it's a long stretch to seat from the outside moulding edge, creating a uncomfortable access.
It’s really not difficult to equip all of the trims levels with LED light all around, and a gauge cluster that’s fully digital. Hyundai has technology that Toyota don’t even offer. Same with the KIA K5.
Consumer Reports once said that the SE rides worse than the LE and doesn't handle any better and that there was no reason to buy it over the LE. Maybe with this redesign it's changed.

The huge center console actually makes me think, what a waste. Because I miss the days of seating for three...in the FRONT. I don't think the Camry ever had it, but the Avalon had it at one point. And it's obvious the new Camry has ample space for a middle seat. Apparently, airbag considerations have made mid-front row seats a thing of the past.
