It's so satisfying to see a proper speedrun without any wall hacks. I saw a 20 minute speedrun of A:I where some dude glitched through walls avoiding essentially 90% of the game. This run takes a lot more skill. Props!

I know this is 5 months old, and i don't know if you know this already but i wanted to let you know a few things. Something you need to know before we go into this: Psychorunning: Psychorunning is essentially silent running by looking to the left and holding W+D which already makes half the steps you usually make. Then you just press crouch every half second or so and TADA you make no noise anymore. Try to turn left though and you make a LOT of noise which makes stairs hell which i will tell about later. CC/Crouchclipping: This is what you implied as "Wall hack" which, well, fair enough but listen what i have to say. Crouchclipping is a glitch technique which lets you through some doors and some invisible walls. We cap our FPS to 140 to make this way easier for ourselves (still difficult though) and bind our crouch to our scroll wheel to make it possible. How it works is that nearly every door has a soft spot to go through, and when you run at the door it eventually lets you through (good to note that all doors cannot be clipped through) The difference with a wall hack and crouchclipping is that crouchclipping takes actual skill to do well. SAT: Security Access Tuner Let's get into the run! The WR right now is 22m33s (my PB is 22m51s65ms rn which is 3rd place so i think i can make this comment now lmao) The run looks mad easy, yes, but it really is far from easy. First there is the first M2 door which is hard to learn, ridiculously hard to master. Then the box clip in Solomon. That is an insanely difficult clip if you don't have a mouse with infinite scroll (which i do, but didn't have it when i started so i know how painful it is). Then, the second elevator (aka HELLevator which implies how difficult it really is) which takes us to M18. The elevator has 2 doors before you can enter it, but we can make it a tiny bit easier by using a Flare which can push us through the second door after getting through the first door. Basically what we do is activate the flare just before getting through that ion torch door before the Hellevator, clip through the first Hellevator door, place the flare down, clip back out, clip through again and the flare should push us right through. There are different strats which includes the one above but throwing it between the doors instead (bit harder to execute) and then throwing the flare in front of the first Hellevator door and hoping the flare pushes you through the second (hardest of the 3). Then the old, PAINFUL strat which is that without the flare. With good luck it takes like 30 seconds to get through it without the flare. Then, M18. The start is pretty easy, just psychorun and hope you are far enough from the SAT terminal for them to not detect you don't have a SAT but close enough that you get the prompt. Once you get upstairs and you are coming downstairs again to the airlock, there is a scripted alien drop in front of the stairs, and a second alien drop downstairs at the same time. The preparation we do for this is throw a flare to the side for the second alien not to spot us. What we do is we psychorun down the stairs, hope for the alien not to spot us, and the downstairs alien not to spot us when we get closer to the airlock. Btw all of the turns are left turns so it makes a lot of noise if you can't do slow turns that well which makes less noise (this part kills my runs a lot lol) Then the huggers. We grabbed the shotgun on our way back to the spaceflight terminal where the Hellevator is, right? Yeah, now is the time we use it. However, there are 6 huggers in the part total and we only got 4 shots. 4 of those huggers luckily come in pairs, so we have to hope they are close enough together. The other 2 are the vent huggers, which is the same except they have around a 30% chance of actually being close enough to each other. If you however got past that, there is pretty much the run! Hope this helped you understand how difficult it really is. Again, i am not saying this is as hard or harder than NMG, CC Only Any% is far easier but still hard.
That was one of the main reasons I hated most outlast runs, they would glitch through the elevator and avoid 90% of the game. It takes much more skill to do the whole game without cheats/OOB glitches, and still be fastest.
I totally enjoy watching your speedruns. I used to watch your runs a few years ago when you were called "Spidi Gonzales" lol. I just have one question. How do you mash "E" so fast when starting up the generators?
