I love how Larry has evolved. He started off being such a stickler for norms and now he is an active emitter of pure chaos.

Curb your enthusiasm is basically larry saying hold your excitement. Life is inherently depressing, even when you are optimistic, people just suck. He often is trying to help people, talk sense (in his mind) but is constantly disappointed by people. Curb your enthusiasm

I knew a girl who was raped by her foster father, which messed her up and led to many other horrible incidents with men. She had a boyfriend who badly mistreated her, and a man who took her out of a shelter just to pimp her out at a very young age. Yet most of her acquaintances wanted to believe her (though the social workers did, thankfully). People would accused her of exaggeration, even of lying.
She started getting tattoos to remind herself these things happened, and to prevent people from trying to convince her they didn't, to "change her memory."
So yeah, tattoos can be in public and still incredibly personal. Stuff that's dark and you may not want to talk about all the time.

my favorite part about this show is how Larry David constantly writes situations in which his character is always right but people still find it necessary to argue how right he is.

He definitely does use his power and influence as a manager to sleep with women. Unlike Harvey though, it is consensual. He would be more like a Louie CK - it's inappropriate and probably an abuse of power, I'm sure in the show he propositions potential actresses and puts them in an awkward position where they feel like they will ruin their chances if they reject him sexually - it may be wrong, but not so deplorable as Weinstein.
