- Welcome to my let's play of Misao Definitive Edition! This was a game I've been wanting to play for some time now and a game a lot of you wanted me to play!
This was an unexpected long video and I'm glad I did it in one go because I would've gone crazy wanting to know more XD. There's a lot to unpack in this episode so be prepared.

That phone death is probably the most well-known death in this game because of how dumb and easy to trigger it is.

Oh also an explanation for the “Yes you can. Because you are me.” part is that the female Aki is the canon protagonist and she has a fair amount of psychopathic tendencies lmfao like when Yoshino dies she goes “Whoops I forgot to save Yoshino, teehee!”
So they seem to have some sort of connection there
Truth Mode is a whole new extra chapter of the story, it explores what happened to some of the characters after Misao's curse. It's very good imo

So, one of the comments under the name RaccoonTrashVault explains how the scenes between Kurata and Tohma are different! And the stuffed bear. I also got some stuff to add as I JUST noticed these differences 😂😭
1. Misao's key items were never objects. Before it was...well. Her body parts. Her legs, torso, I think arms? And last but not least, her hands. You get the hands by Mr. Kurata somehow if my horrible memory stands LOL. Her head is what you would only find in the grave. I'm extremely grateful that they changed it though because it always unsettled me that you were basically carrying her body parts around through the entire haunted highschool :"D The new scene where you find her grave and body intact was much better and bittersweet now.
2. I think the girl/woman who's in the capsule is mama, and is another homunculus like this Aya 2.0 is! I had to check the wiki again with how much this game has updated, but it states that "...and the later Mad Father that Alfred was experimenting in the creation of homunculi, rather than true cloning -- the Alraune or Mandrake is, according to some accounts, used in the creation of homunculi, and he was storing some in the same type of tubes that we see the "clones" from the game in. Thus, the "clone" Aya would not be human, but rather a homunculus, and line up with this assertion." So the mandrakes were in the science lab for a multitude of reasons! 👀
3. Also with you picking Male Aki, he's the only one that hesitates in killing Mr. Kurata and/or Tohma LMAO. Female Aki don't give two sh!ts and she does it WITHOUT hesitation. I played Female Aki and was SUPER surprised with how "ok BET" her attitude was 😭😭
Heyo! Okay so I didn't know that fem!Aki just straight up kills Toma!
Almost every playthrough I've seen of the old version of the game was always with fem!Aki, do I just assumed it was the default. That's so crazy!
i believe it's when youre going to get the tranquilizer? when you open Mr. Kurata's desk, Misao's hands pop out
It's so wild how much has changed in the game. In the original you had to hide under a corpse instead of inside a bear. Also the game would let you kill Toma or Kurata and if you picked wrong the game wouldn't let you know till you do the ritual. The game would then show you the whole flashback just to let you know that you effed up royally if you picked wrong. I guess they added the new more thrilling ghost invation to sike people who had already played the original version.
Another thing I forgot to say, she’s fine with you naming her Maria; but she won’t like the name. More along the lines of “I don’t like the name but since you like it I guess or whatever”

Something I realised when I played as the female character. The male one is gently tapping te mandrake, why the female literally smacks it with the bat and smiles right before doing it XD
After everything you went throu and suspecting the teacher...you chose THE WRONG OPTION? GIRLYYY...

The moment I saw u saving the teacher I'm here like have u forgotten he lied about the stuff in his desk then killed the other girl, the boy was sleeping n saying sorry in his dreams spare him

The phone jump scare always gets you or keep forgetting that the phone was there 😂

At 43:45 , i believe Sayaka's grave wasnt there cause she never bullied Misao and the other's were there because they were the ones that at least had hurted Misao
This game reminds me of Corpse Party just a tiny bit especially with the broken tiles near the beginning
7:13 The vault incubator thingy opening sounds like Zim screaming WHAAAAAAAAAAT like he does best
Mr. Karata was…different. I’m still stuck on how he was locked in the locker WITH the key!! Like how😭
You do need to play as the girl too. She's a total psychopath

There is more to the story actually. You get to see why Mr. Kurata got to be who he is what happened to Aki and Tohma and Aya and Mr. Onigarwa

I'm so happy it's not the end! :D I remember waiting for new episodes of Mad Father this summer and now I can watch Misao. I hope they'll make more games, so you can play them haha

If you take a look around “Aya”’s room, you’ll see the bow she wore during mad father, and also a small picture which strangely reminds us of Monica, her mother!! Also I don’t know if it could be interacted with or not, but there was some sort of diary open on her hairdresser… finally, we know Library has Aya’s personality, as she mentions hamburgers several times, which was her favourite meal her mother made!!
I can't wait for truth! Did just do a little check up and there really is a difference between if you choose to play as a boy or a girl, I think you would have found the girl to be crazy
mr.onigwara is some sort of curator who just watches the events
I just love long episodes. And this episode was sooo satisfying. You explored EVERYTHING I was curious to try so I really thank you for that 😂💕💕

Jesus Christ, Yoshino is the worst! Out of everyone that died she is definitely the most evil, like yeah Mr. Kurata killed Misao, *but* Yoshino is even more fucked up, not only did she undress Misao and take pics of her, she also forced her to sleep with people. She 100% deserved to die.
I am excited to see the truth playthrough of the game though!

Yeah, Sohta Kurata deserves more than death :/ Fem Aki is the one speaking to masc Aki(to) when he hesitates to late-abort the final victim. Library's also named Novella which is super cute. If you haven't already, I think you should definitely play these horror rpgs:

Edit: I KNEW IT I knew it was the teacher. The girl he probably killed didn't even appear with the other graves, which means Misao didn't hate the entire friend group. I think the blood on Toma's grave was a hint it was innocent blood 😢. And the teacher was hella weird with his whole good teacher facade! That guy is a weirdo. Big yikes

I know that everyone prefers the new misao but I think the old one was easier in finding out who mudered Misao.-
Given that it's body parts you have to collect, finding her legs in the car was a clue as no student was old enough to drive,, then having the teacher having a tranq at his desk is suspicious, he was the last with akis friend who died even tho aki slept in that same room and wasn't attacked in his sleep in a realm going out its way to kill him every chance] and that the teacher in the older game had misaos hands and the teacher had an obsession with hands. The old one made it more obvious but the new one it was kinda difficult knowing who actually did it.

Also everyone talking about how in the game you used to collect her body parts instead of these items and that reminded me of that netflix movie based on a manga called Re/member starring kanna hashimoto, very entertaining movie btw
Ok 1. I should NOT have laughed as hard as I did whenever you died!! But I seriously couldn’t help myself! And 2…..this game was a prime example of “Don’t judge a book by its cover” for me because I’ve never seen any sort of context of this game before so just by looking at the game I thought it was gonna be a “cute” and “cozy” game….. that was on me my bad 😅 still enjoyed it though 😂

The whole ayaka kurata thing was sus to me in the other episode
I did think that he tried to do something to her but thought that might be too dark for this series
But after watching this I now realise that that must be what happened therefore kurata killed her
So maybe that’s why Ayaka didn’t have a grave?
