I don't know what it is but I find This Time unwatchable
I've found a few nuggets of gold in there. But I feel the same.
I loved it. Just one or two jokes that didn't work but overall a very good show. I guess it's all a matter of taste.
There are a couple of extremely funny bits worth watching, again and again. One where he interviews Alice Fluck, and the other one where he also plays an Irish farmer singing rebel songs. Both brilliant.
