Mikey, I love it! The 1939 Play Ball are really growing on my these days! Speaking of growing, you have a sweet growing collection of them! 🤯🤯🤯I just bought a 1939 Play Ball, but need to wait for it to ship to me. It is Monte Pearson. The dude won a World Series game in 1936 and in 1937 and in 1938 and in 1939 for the Yankees! Take care, my collecting brother!
i like how youre collecting players with stories!! when i first got back into collecting, i did the same! its so much fun, and with some of these players nobody really cares for, they become affordable. many years ago i completed the 1919 blacks soxs run of players who were banned, i found a chapman card that took 10 years.. i have cards with stories in my collection too!
It always fun to see a set build come together even if it is one card at a time. Love looking through the binders. Some iconic sets right there. Congrats and look forward to watching you finish them.
the hobby is weird huh, 1 day cards are over priced, and the next day youre finding them for a buck lol.. kuddos to you finding those 51s under a buck!
Finding 1933 Goudey's in the wild, ungraded, in such fine condition is tough. You have a great eye here for these cards. That Dave Harris is a low number. Any card in the first 30 or so of this set are so tough to find. Thanks for the shout out
omg yes, ive noticed the low number cards are quite pricey, i was surprised i was able to find a few for a good price! and, with the prices of these cards, im okay finding them one card at time lol.. makes searching fun! hope all is well my dude!
Fantastic cards and some great deal especially this 51’s for 1.00 each. I feel ya on the one card at a time some time it’s slow but cool to see something develop little by little. Enjoyed my friend!

Mikey, I think you need a custom t-shirt that says "El-Bencho" on it somehow.
