Go watch the interviews with the devs they already said nothing changed with the ground game besides it’ll flow smoother now that it’s 60 fps, no more mini games for submissions it’s all just transition based, and they re added ground and pound elbows. It’s literally UFC 4 with minor tweaks and better graphics. 🙄
Guys I hate to reinforce this bad news but I'm almost certain it's virtually the same. Not only do the devs not confirm any changes, I also had a Gamechanger(someone who essentially is hired to help with ideas and testing) tell me that the transition and denial system is the same. He wouldn't elaborate but said there are changes within the system but the system itself is the same, minus the upgrade to 60 FPS, which I can't envision is going to change shit on the ground. I'm thinking thr changed within the system he was alluding to is the new submission system, which we already knew about. He literally told me I should just keep practicing the ground game on UFC 4 to get ready for the new game. If they changed to more of an Undisputed 3 system I imagine practicing on UFC 4 wouldn't have done any good.

@cjboyer4355 They don't even care to compete with Undisputed. They're not looking for any form of realism. They make one big change in every installment. We assumed it would be the grappling system since it was the weakest aspect of the series. They said nah, we're redoing the damage system, which I can't lie, it does sound like it'll end up being awesome, but I swear I'd trade it for a complete rework of the grappling and ground game. The damage system can't carry the whole game. I don't mind the stand up/striking, it's actually came a long ways, but hate the ground game so much, I can't imagine having to play a new game with this same busted system yet again. Kinda ruins it for me no matter how good the rest of the game is. Some people will say "wait til you play the beta before jumping to conclusions". We'll, no need, I already know what the ground game will be like if it ain't changed since UFC 2.

I actually saw that in an article too where they talked about it being seamless and it being based off timing. I'm still excited but they gotta drop that gameplay trailer already lol

I just want to play with new fighters, theres so many new fighters in the ufc hopefully the roster is deep in the game, Even though i bet people online still only use top 5 fighters non stop
The game will be the same. They get people worked up with theses ridiculous trailers and people make them money on a half par game. Honestly I haven’t wasted my money on EA UFC Since 2. Should’ve stuck with UFC3 and just updated it with fighters and tweaks in gameplay. WWE games aren’t perfect but they definitely try to capture the experience of the sport better than Rockm Sockm UFC
