- Elistra the Immortal is a stupidly cool new minion, maybe my favorite minion in Battlegrounds history, and we got quite a few of her in this absolutely bonkers game.

Battlegrounds | Hearthstone | ...how many Elistras is TOO MANY? A buffed Golden Elistra is STRONG.
Btw the order for the Ellistras is that they attack the left one until it dies once, then they switch. Each time Ellistras dies, they switch.
Holy you got 3 out the 10top com, ends when I'm reading them
So if you have two taunted Elistras they only Attack the left one?
I don’t actually know what happens if they get taunt
0:31 sneaky is not typically the word that comes to mind when speaking about Ragnaros the Firelord.
Ragnaros: QUITE! I'M TRYING TO SNEAK ON THEM!
He became the very insect he wished to kill
Tip for Ellistra build: *put you taunt last*
As soon as your taunt dies Ellistra stops, and you lose.
PS: I managed to beat Murlocs with this
They removed Finley because of The Great Akazamzarak. Since they needed to retune him by adding another secret, Finley couldn’t stay since they would have had to fix him to not have Akazam’s hero power show up. Though I feel like that might have been an easy fix to not include his hero power in the pool, but whatever. That’s my best guess.

I won a game because I had a golden Admiral Eliza, golden tormented ritualist, and two Ellistras on either side of it. So the longer the round went, the more my minions grew.
I’ve been enjoying the battlegrounds update it’s really spiced it up
The elystra order goes, whichever one is most left, then when it dies, it changed to the one who’s most left (after the one that died)
It didn't seem random. I think it prioritized which Elistra spawned into the board first. The left most until it died, the right most until it died, then the left most again.
They removed finley because of the akazamzarak abuse
16:41 Ellistra broke the game. Foe Reaper no longer gets cleave when he is redirected? On purpose or spaghetti code?
That's a harvest golem, not foe reaper
@@overlordsmashalot3891 thank you. It was so big, it looked like for on my phone
what happens if you have 2 ellistra and both of them is taunted?
Dragons outSCALED us.
HA! I see what you did there.
I've watched the Highlander documentary - obviously anything more than one is a problem.
This is why they removed tirion from the game
I think they took out Finley cause he could do the same exploit as the the secret maybe??
Just a hypothetical: what if the only minions you have are ellistras and you give them all taunt. Infinite cycle?
Nope. Should just attack another random ellistra instead.
@Marco Rigau Yeah that. I see now how it works.
Battlegrounds were so great on my end. None of the new minions & never saw the same minion twice.
Guess that's what you get for not paying Blizz for the pass.

Middle tier prediction? +3/+3 on two minions forever will never not be top tier O_o
HEYOOO NEW UPLOAD LETS GOOO
Sir Finley gets added in so F2P players can get the new hero powers through him
I think you need new battlegrounds artwork... the only minion left in the game from you drawing is the imp gang boss. Lol
How'd you miss the giant Cave Hydra looming over everyone!?
Voracious reader change did absolutely nothing......
Just thought I’d throw that out there.
Well it costs more now, thats something
Actually, it DID do somthing. Now it costs an additional mana, it is harder to weave into turns, so either playing it will leave an extra 1-drop in the opponent's hand (and thereby reduce their draw from it), or it will wind up being played a turn late more often (which results in the turn it comes down being a really weak one due to lack of cards in hand), so while the change is not noticable in individual games, overall it will hit the winrate of decks relying on it.
@@alexstewart9592 not by much because generally you play it when you are already gassed and without. Much to do
@@silverfang4583 It makes it less common to see it drop on the exact turn the aggro player is running out of gas, and in particular makes it rarer for them to mannage to drop a SECOND reader the turn after the first reader is cleared, making it easier to stabilise against decks running it.
It particularly stops highrolls from outpressuring a tempo/control deck, as the times where the Reader was dropping alongside more immediate threats happen when the deck highrolls a bunch of its power cards or the opponent whiffs on their early removal and so the aggro player can continue to apply pressure without the need to commit additional resources.
@@alexstewart9592 the first point you made is just wrong ir doesn't change when the aggro deck runs out of gas as no aggro deck runs out of gas turn 2
