Spectacular! Really neat! Also, you are a hoot! I laughed several times through this. "It's a statement piece. It says we have a big, ugly bowl in our house." Classic. Not at all ugly, a potter would be hard-pressed to make a piece as intricate and interesting as that.
FASCINATING! I knew if anyone could do this, you'd be the only one. I don't think I've ever seen you turn anything with rock embedded before; this wasn't just arduous, it was DANGEROUS! But it did turn out extraordinary! ❤🔥👍I'd make a wonderful owner, too. Hoping for that to happen one day. 😊

Well Phil, I know it was a ton of work for you, but I really like it! It has so much interesting color and texture. I especially like the area on the outside where the speckled “bark” is still showing. Glad the cracks behaved themselves and stayed put. All in all, I think it’s a tremendous piece!

Well Phil, I know it was a ton of work for you, but I really like it! It has so much interesting color and texture. I especially like the area on the outside where the speckled “bark” is still showing. Glad the cracks behaved themselves and stayed put. All in all, I think it’s a tremendous piece!
