Ok I’m having more fun watching than I have come to expect from more casual gameplay
Yeah, it’s almost like the game’s actually in a decent spot mechanically. Players are actually able to whiff-punish and improvise combos.
Add the absurd speed back and that’s all gone. Back to hardly watchable chaos.
@@ShanyeSoTit was way too fast for a human being to know what the hell was happening, even void the ego champ, said that he had to guess what his opponent was gonna do most of the time, it wasn’t about skill it was more about who’s gonna guess right, but still the new speed is a little slow so if they tune it up a little bit it’s gonna be great.
Even competitive games were just pure chaos, and casual games were even worse, I don’t even know how I ranked 700 on duos with that shitty speed
@@H2teful I’d be down for a slight speed increase, but I think that’d only really benefit 1v1s.
2v2 is still pretty fast and hectic, especially with how small some of the maps are.

Carry would’ve taken that Harley if he didn’t nerf himself. 1:51:58 If you notice in the last few rounds he ends the infinite after one loop because he considered approaching w Nair as 1/2 loops. Actually would’ve went to five if he literally did one more Nair to Upair. IRON GIANT COULDVE TAKEN IT ALL THE WAY

it's just in comparison to the beta that it seems slow. the beta was insanely fast paced so this was just a bit of a culture shock

Greeet finished really high in this tourney (like top 4 i think), then 2 days later entered a 1600 man tourney and was 1 stock away from winning it.
He has become one if my favorites. He does stuff with the car that you cant imagine

i wish we had bigger versions of the maps for 2v2, the maps feel like they were designed for 1v1s
The speed currently is great for the game compared to the beta. Chaos is fun but for competition slower is better. Allows for accuracy and timing to be more precise. Otherwise unless you’re a smash purist this platform fighter has potential to be different in a genre that needs a refresh with its selection. Characters are vastly different from each other in moves and specials . Would recommend

thats usually how fighting games go. but if you work enough at it you could join tournaments your self. it just takes actual dedication and willingness to improve

The Iron Giant is very large and he is an easy target for combos. His percentage gets bundled up quickly.

They have one were when i play rick in 1v1 most of my moves randomly stops working and i can only jump and do certain aerial attacks. I noticed it usually happens once i get into close combat with my aponent

21:01 I think we may need to add smash-DI. Auto-combos are just too simple. They shouldn't be so rewarding. IMO. I'm open to debate on this.
Yeah. Alot of fighting games like smash bros and brawlhalla use this to avoid infinite combos n such. I feel like Multiversus especially needs it.

It is an advanced tech. Look up "multiversus dodge cancel". In summary, you hold your stick diagonally and dodge. Right as you dodge, press an input and the game thinks you are in the air so you do an aerial.

The hit box issue this game has will always hold it back. I imagine the devs walk around on shift in full HQ cosplay because theres no way they see how her buttons just hit every fuckin thing front back and below with priority and left her that way. Getting hit by someone when youre behind is the worst fuckin feeling in these types of games and it happpens CONSTANTLY in this goofy ass game 😂
