First of all. Welcome back. I missed you.
This was a spur of the moment project. ForestRain needed the instrumental for a convention, and it was all but destroyed. So I had to recreate it, and it came out much better than the original. Figured at that point, why not give it a respin. And here it is.
This is not necessarily a return to pony music, may not even be a return to music at all. Tis just a tasty snack for the time being. I'll see about getting some more stuff up on this channel, likely under the new moniker, Alex Icarus, which is a project I've had in mind for a while. We'll see where it goes.
In the meantime, enjoy this little slice of updated nostalgia. And Happy Halloween.

I know you said it would not be necessarily be a return to pony music, but I hope you will one day. You're my favorite pony musician and today I'm still listening to most of your musics as Octavia's Overture or Soldiers of the Night. I would even say you're one among the few who made want to give a try in writing music.

Well, it may be three years late, but I finally found this gem of a remix. Really glad you chose to use the staggered vocals that Glaze originally used when saying "prepare". It's something I havent been able to find in any other remix/redux of Nightmare Night

I'm a late comer to the fandom. Since the Brony fandom has been reduced to its most loyal fans and lost the hype train, I've never had the chance to see a "new" pony video with less than a few months' age on it that wasn't a review/reaction to canon/older fan content. Nice remix!

Oh, and the remix is cool, too. I haven't really been in a pony craze like I used to be, no matter what my avatar at the time of posting this may suggest. I know i'm 2 weeks late, but I JUST saw this in my reccomended feed (which is weird to begin with since I haven't listened to pony music in years. UA-cam has a plan I see haha), but I wanted to say this: Thank you Slyph. This year has been the toughest I can remember enduring, from personal challenges to soul searching I've been in a tight spot for what seems like countless months. But for the last 3 or so mintues, I've gone back to when I felt as though everything was going perfectly. I honestly can't stop smiling, hearing a new version of a song from an era unparralelled for me in terms of community and enjoyment during what feels as though has been my lowest point, its like breathing fesh air after being in a stuffed car for hours on end.
I know this is late again and I don't want to seem like I'm grasping for attention, but I just really want to express how much this made me smile. You've brought a light back that I haven' thought of in too long, thank you SlyphStorm, glad to see you're still atleast semi-active. Missed you :) (also great remix.
