- YOU FOOLISH MORTALS! Halloween Haunt is back at Canada's Wonderland, and there's plenty of new spooks and horrors awaiting guests who visit this year. In this adventure, I visit the park for the opening night of Halloween Haunt 2023. I'll conquer monstrous mazes, like The Ruins, Spirit Manor, and the new for 2023 Dark Ride. I'll survive scream-tastic scare zones like CarnEvil, Streets of the Undead, and the new Necropolis and Trick or Treat Street areas. I'll witness sinister shows like the Day of the Dead Festival, Freak Show, and Inferno. And I'll galivant with the most delirious monsters to ever roam the park! To top it all off, I'll try some fall treats, enjoy some spooky night rides on the park's top roller coasters, and more. There's plenty of twists and surprises in store in this vlog, so let the spook-ventures begin!

Though I had fun, I really miss the 9 maze count they used to have. Not sure why they axed four from the lineup since 2019. It's not like the returning mazes have improved in quality to compensate. Perhaps it's an issue recovering from the pandemic. I hope they increase the count but I doubt they will. Scarezones don't make up for it in my opinion. they're fine, but not the same.
I miss the additional mazes as well! I know they did ONLY scare zones in 2021 because of the pandemic, and I guess the following year they wanted to keep the extra zones and compensated by having less mazes. I do really enjoy interacting with the characters, but it’s definitely not the same level of scares or immersion that you get from the mazes. Hopefully we see more of them return in the coming years!

Very good video and so fun to watch! You’re so talented with the editing! Very good fun intro! I love Halloween haunt so so much. It’s always my favourite thing at wonderland. I went opening day too for haunt and it was incredible. All the workers involved are so talented with all their hard work, especially the scare monsters. They are extremely talented with staying in character. And night rides are the best. Yukon, behemoth and leviathan front row at night is my favourite. Such good haunted mazes and scare zones too! Halloween haunt is the best 🎃
Yassss to all of this hahaha! Haunt is by far my favourite time of year to visit Wonderland, and the work that the scare actors and employees do is phenomenal. Definitely hope to get more night rides next time I go though 😁

Fingers crossed! Haunt had so much potential to be something big, so it’ll be interesting to see what the future holds, especially with the former Six Flags parks now getting IP-based houses.

Also yea the STUPID thing this year is they treat Trick or Treat Street and Necropolis as "mazes". Yea... they are not mazes Wonderland, stop kidding yourself. I get you got a kick when you introduce these back in 2021 but they are scarezones. Really good ones mind you but yea, STUPID.
