Once they used overflow, Hyuga got fouled and got three free throws, which reduces heavily the score gap and Aomine, finally feeling that he is playing a match so close that no one knows how it would end, activated the Zone (he literally said it). Kagami being able to be equal to Aomine in the zone was pure BS, since without the zone Aomine was using Kagami to mop the floor.
Akashi third? Murasakibara fifth? Have you ever watched this anime or read the manga? Akashi if by far the strongest in one-on-one, Aomine and Murasakibara are even in the second place (Aomine himself admitted that even for him is difficult to score against him, and Murasakibara dunks are unstoppable without zone, I really hate we didn't see them against each other), Kise is after them. You have to consider their base form, not a temporary boost like zone and perfect copy, and in that situation Akashi is too overpowered even for Aomine, since he can predict easily everything he does and, as Imayoshi (the one who stated many many many times that Aomine is the best) said that speed matters nothing against prediction, that says everything.
