Silent Paladin is one of worst, at release, "support" cards I've read, so its funny to see it here sucking just as hard as it did at release.

sam should rename the silent swordsman in G tier to just Silent so they can have both silent swordsman and magician so it can be more of a fair match then a one sided slaughter

Silent swordsman vs the archenemesis is so painful
I miss when the wheel is on the trash tier.
The higher tier wheel is most of the time just whoever goes first wins because hand traps don't exist to stop combos.
It's more fun seeing cards that rarely see play.
Any deck that has Protos is at minimum D tier tbh

Really feel like if you combined the silent swordsman and magician archetypes on the wheel no one would bat an eye. At least it adds a whooping 3 monsters to the pool of normal summonable monsters.

@@Delicashilous Ahhh, would be nice if MD had alternative styles and formats in general, like they are doing time wizard at YCS, where's the time wizard formats in MD with rule sets for the time, like drawing for turn going 1st and player priority for ignition effects
@@AntCommando yep. We should get ESPECIALLY OTHER WAYS to make gems than just ranked. It gets boring & repetitive. Some Flexiblity in making gems with friends trhough new modes would be nice.

It's technically not an archetype, but level monsters are.
Small World was probably the only card Deion could add to get warriors in hand to tribute for Silent Swordsman, but the "Silent" deck or archetype doesn't really exist, they're retrained leveled support monsters for a Warrior or Spellcaster decks.
They're making more in the new legacy of destruction set, but yeah its pretty bad.
Sam was using every attribute support card. Hes not playing a rock deck, he uses catapult zone spells. Hes not playing a dragon deck, he plays dragon ravine
That's called cheating

I'd argue that Nemeses is the one exception to all the "cheating" allegations. It's such a mess of an archetype it exempts itself.
The only problem with this episode is, It's not a G rank deck.
That and the archetype should be silent not silent swordsmen...

A good idea Sam and SeeReax should do is duel, but switch the decks they randomly selected with each other. So that when they talk smack about each other's decks, they can flip it and duel with their deck (with their own build of it of course). But then it would lead to another whole argument. It would still be fun to see.

Hey Sam imho, Silent Swordsman really should have been mixed with Mystic Swordsman. It would have doubled the number of summons Deion could've had. Either that or the room should've set to unlimited for 3 ROTAs. It was tough to watch as it was tbh...
It hurts me so much to see my favorite archetype down in G, but I understand it. Silent Swordsman is just full of bricks... But I would pay for a runback in a series where you 2 make decks in G-tier actually work.

I’m confused why silent isn’t together? Theres magician and swordsman, splitting them causes this, there aren’t enough cards to actually make a deck. Just combine them, they are still a g tier deck, maybe f, but then reax couldve played the damn game😂😂😂😂

I'm not sure if he can it's technically not a silent swordsmen card not a warrior card and doesn't mention silent swordsmen so it may be against the rules for him to play the LV cards
The question is if LV is on the wheel or list.
The only way to settle this is to make a mirror match series where in each tier both of you have to make a deck based off what is spun so it will show who is the better deck builder and who’s the cheater.
How about you flip results? Sam with Silent Swordsman and Dion with Nemeses?

I know the Silent Swordsman sucked, even during the days of his first incarnation, but I thought getting rid of the crappy Level monsters and throwing in some good cards made SS at least an F tier. Guess I was wrong.

Silent Swordsman LV3 has to be on your side of the field at the start of Standby, since he wasn't, no level up.
there are a whole set of LV support cards that would be legal in this im pretty sure and would let him cheat out LV7 from grave and stuff so dont know what cards he was looking at

As somebody who mained Silent Swordsman I feel every angry howl of despair SeeReax uttered in this XD Like I love the archetype but even with new support there's just not a lot. Also anyone who hasn't mained it in DL probably don't know but Storm effect+ Silent Sword Slash = Searcher. But even I had to discover this by suffering through years of using Silent Swords in DL where we finaly got a skill and it's just for Gadget XD Konami owes this "Archetype' so much not just for 8it being there to end Zorc in Millennium world but because of the past sins against it.
Also hot take and I don't care who disagrees but "Warrior Support" should include trap monsters that can change their types since Silent Ex can use them as mats.
The real villain was the Wheel all along...
