His dad is white of Puerto Rican descent and his mom is white of Dominican descent. My mom is mixed. Her dad is black and white (his dad is black and his mom is white) and her mom is Asian. It is sad that I have Latino in me but I can barely speak Spanish. My Spanish is rusty, but the funny thing is I actually understand Spanish fluently, but when it comes to speaking Spanish it is very rust so I reply back in English a lot. My grandmother (my dads' mom) gets frustrated when I reply back in English lol, it is funny though. My dad said the only time he speaks Spanish is when he visits Puerto Rico or Dominican Republic. He's right, Chicago is full of gangsters but 99% of the beef is between gangs - you gotta be in the streets for the most part to experience the crime. I'm Asian American and grew up around African Americans in Chicago my whole life and have Black friends that I consider my brothers that I've known for 35 years + and trust them with my life. Their parents knew me since I was a baby and they are basically like my extended family. Also, 9/10 Black people you meet day to day in Chicago are very friendly. We're all human, and like the same stuff. The vast majority of Chicago are good people, but the hood is the hood and it's no joke. However, that's a very closed off part of society in Chicago.
I got black, black and Mexican niggas from my hood. To think about it we have a lot of black Northerners. Many of them grew up with us, learned Spanish, mom's baby sat them, and we're highly structured.
