Suryavarman also sought support from Indian chola dynasty to fight against Tambralinga kingdom (Sri dhamaraja, Thailand southern region) which backed up by Srivijaya. Since then, pallava and chola architectures and arts inflowed to Angkor empire during 1000-1200

Varman king names originally came from Indian Pallava dynasty of Tamil Nadu state of India. But Suryavarman I, old name Kampotch, was Mon Lavo king who, after married Angkorian princess who fled from royal blood bath in Yasodaoura, fled from Ayutthaya attacked to rule Yasodhapura (Angkor), that s why during his reign so many temples and territories expanded where it was Mon Dvaravati. However at the end, Mon lavo combined Tai of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya

When I said king Suryavaraman II was a Hindu by religion even Cambodian people not believe, now see it by yourself, our culture was/is quite similar and as we are the people give respect to people by holding hands as Namaste.
