one of the many problems with gta 3 is that you become a walking target to almost every gang after you complete the game. and these gangs are infinite. you kill one, two of em pop up. lol
the only way to explore the gta3 map is to start playing at the beginning and without doing any missions and you notice a big difference and the funny thing is that the cartel gangs are always hostile from the beginning of the game
I'd rather use cheat codes in vice city of summoning old women to use tons of bags to kill me rather than experiencing gang shit in gta3
@@Nunesitalootavio67the gangs actually affect a lot when you're doing side missions, if you want to all achievements definitive edition you would soon spot the difficulty peaks in one city when you are doing 12 vigilante missions in a row

Shotguns and m16s are the strongest weapons in the game
Tim Smith also the Rocket Launcher. Very extremely dangerous and useful for killing Mafias, Triads, Cartel, Police, FIB and the Army.

Yep, its true, if you have a m16 a sniper and a rocket you have the game. The mafia members with the shotguns are hard though, so you better get a bulletproof car if you have when cruising the streets of portland. I also tried using a mafia sentinel but sometimes they can see you.

They certainly screwed up by giving the bloody Italians shotguns & the army m16’s, hope someone got fired for that disgrace
If this game gets remastered, I hope it would add another missions by giving the Yakuza M16s and Shotguns, the Southside Hoods get better guns and involving several missions that would wipe out all gangs hostile to the player in the city, especially the Leone Gang just like in the mission Rumble where the Purple Nines were wipped out after beating the mission and the Yakuza takeover of Saint Mark's District.
Not really. At the end of the day when Claude killed Salvatore in his revenge in the Sayonara Salvatore mission. The Leone mafia put a hit on Claude and therefore its perfectly natural for Claude to get a hostile reaction from the them if he revisits St Marks for whatever reason which is why I suggest doing all the side missions including the diablo street races and collecting all the packages and doing the rampage sub-missions before doing the storyline when all gangs are neutral with Claude as then there is no reason apart from two missions that require it to visit St Marks again. You can still go there but I recommend using a tank and this game used to piss me off so much that every time the Leone gang wasted me on that game. I would get a tank and kill 50 of them bastards every time. With respect to Rockstar Games as they have done their research to make the mafia AI realistic in my opinion. The Army having M16's is perfectly normal as well because at 6 stars wanted level. Claude then becomes public enemy number one and a threat to national security in the game so the Army are called in to deal with this threat and neutralise it. I hope it stays this way with the definitive edition of the games that are coming out because the fun would be gone if Rockstar Games waters this down. The tank/M16 battles with the mob wouldn't be as fun or challenging.
@@realVicTorres02 I too would love to see the ability that Claude should be able to recruit gang members from the Yakuza or the Hoods later in the game as he gets more respect but when he is on good terms with the mafia then he should be able to recruit them as protection from the Triads and the Diablos until the Sayonara Salvatore mission. Would be nice to have the ability to be able to provoke gang wars in the game and take over enemy gang turf but this would make the GTA 3 remake too much like GTA San Andreas. But I do think that the Yakuza should be given M16's at the time the Columbian gangs are given AK47's after the final mission is done. In the old GTA3, most of the enemy gangs would have way more powerful weapons as where the Yakuza only had pistols and uzi's which was no match against the shotguns and the AK47's. I am sure someone will make a mod where the Yakuza will be given M16's to even the odds up against Catalina's gang.

I always remember it being too easy to die in GTA 3, it was very frustrating.
Its best to use the tank if you need to go back to st marks to collect any packages as its the only vehicle that is bulletproof outside of missions. There is one at Phil's garage, take that, then store it in your garage to make it bulletproof and then have some payback fun on the mafia as their shotguns will be useless against the tank.
@@BritishRail60062 Not true at all, Ray gives you a bulletproof patriot and during missions there are some you can try to save in your garage for your own use

GTA 3 turned me into a masochist
I noticed that the end clip that the mafia guy was a bit careless with his aim as he also took out an innocent woman when killing Claude. I really hated that gang in GTA3 when they were given shotguns so I resorted to health and armour cheats and enjoyed burning them with the flamethrower. Their screams were quite satisfying to be honest. The M16 rampages were fun in the game as well.

explosion deaths are very brutal in old gta games, because if you look at a vehicle that has already blown up with a person in it, you can see that theres no body in there, meaning it might have disintegrated inside the vehicle! But for claude’s death, he is completely fine, still holding onto the wheels

I remember how overpowered the Shotgun and the M16 was in this game. Very frustrating and annoying.
It was also annoying that almost all gangs wanted Claude dead (except for Southside Hoods and the Yakuza).

I use to use a tank and when I get 6 stars other tanks show up. When I get out of the tank is when the military mens get out. I get back in the tank in a quick sec, and use the the cannon to kille those soilders
@@pa.encema2821 True, but I have a save file with 9999+ health and armor points, so I don't need to rush back to get a health pickup from the safehouse or hospital, instead I killed those army guys with shotguns, M16s, flamethrowers and rocket launchers while having many health points.
Shotgun in GTA 3 and vice city is overpowered because it use slug shell instead of pellets shell like in GTA SA
