I would like to note that the first chapter was created before the first hater arrived, where speed was meant to be a punching bag and not [both god and the reason the world is broken at the same time]. the entire "ES is a mess" concept is based on the story shifts that happened in the middle of the comic's runtime, so it makes a lot of sense that the first chapter's speed "keeps getting beat up by a girl"

Imagine the reason why Leafy was there was instead of saving Speed from another beating was to check Flare just imagine that love at first sight just imagine that would that be funny or hilarious or whatever thing there is to say about this
0:56 this is a 3 year time skip, i know this because not only is it later confirmed in chapter 5 sunshine is 3 but it is also confirmed speed is 13, Crystal is 13, and flare is 12 in chapter 1 (still not sure if this is talking about *all* of chapter 1 but chapter 1 is where the time skip happens so yea I *highly* doubt) but then all their ages are later 3 years older with speed being 16, Crystal also being 16 and flare being 15, and also speed has his current hair style after the time skip once more suggesting it’s a 3 year time skip (I might of gotten the ages wrong in chapter 1 but I think these are all correct but you could check for yourself if you wanna confirm lol)
I could have sworn I saw somewhere Sunshine was 3 but didn't say anything because I was still unsure if that was correct but thanks for clarifying that!
