As I kept on calling ALLAH when I get confused in MY ISLAMIC FAITH, I heard ALLAH and HE told me that sometimes HE entered the SUN. HE told me that HE is very MERCIFUL, like the SUN that gives sunshine to all people: good or bad, all benefit from HIS MERCY...
The current attention span of people had dropped so much that this is exactly the "appetizer" for dawa'. A long lecture will lose people. *what a mistake in the Qur'an!* Allah himself testifies that he has a son and he is the son as Christians understand it! Only the Koran writer was too ignorant to know what Son of God means! Allah's word which created everything is Allah himself too! *The Word Allahs which created everything is the Son of God according to Christianity!*
Hijab must have LOVED this interview. It looks like he’s being challenged, but FAR from it. His answers are just accepted as though there’s no need to bring in further context or additional information. It’s sad to see so many people think he ‘took on challenging topics” when with an informed opponent, he wouldn’t have gotten away with these misleading answers which ignore the real arguments.
*“A good deed done to an animal is as meritorious as a good deed done to a human being, while an act of cruelty to an animal is as bad as an act of cruelty to a human being."* -Prophet Muhammad [Peace be upon him]. (Source: Mishkat al-Masabih; Book 6; Chapter 7, 8:178)
“If you want to follow the Prophet, (on whom be peace), then control your anger.” So true. May we Muslims try harder to practice self-restraint, which is truly difficult for most people growing up in a fragmented society/challenging environment. Ameen “Interest is exploitative….a detriment to the society.” “When you trust your authority to a Greater Source, you tend to take the Prescriptions of the Greater Source.” Wow, MashaAllah So great that Brother Hijab can answer each misunderstood concept so quickly and effectively, MashaAllah.
These questions lack structural integrity. They challenge absolutely nothing. And when he was challenged he diverted the answer by mentioning other verses. He’s smart enough not to answer the controversial questions directly lol
Exactly , all his answers are thrash , he fabricates things and even lied tat the prophet didn't hit Aisya and he even lied tat the hitting of wives are symbolic which no where in Quran or hadith says tat
its called context? lets say you were accused of commiting a crime but you didnt. The people who said you commited the crime are going on about what you said in a particular scentence. This scentence for example is ," i killed that person". In reality you said it because you were playing call of duty and you won a victory in that game. You didnt acctualy kill a person but what other people did, they took a specific part out of that scentence and turned it against you. Do you see the importance of context?
I just read the story. Abdurrahman got Me2 by his wife. She was saying that he was impotent and that she wanted divorce. Then Abdurrahman brought his 2 sons from a previous marriage as proof that he wasn't impotent. The Prophet (PBUH) said that the boys were exactly like him. The reason this woman made up this lie was because she wanted to go back to her ex-husband Rifa'a. She couldn't do that until both of them had married someone else, and both had consummated the marriage. She was trying to get out without sleeping with Abdurrahman, so she then showed her bruises. It's unclear if he did it or not, but her credibility was in the garbage after lying about his impotence. Aisha believed her while everyone just rolled their eyes 👀
Imagine people who don't have similar faith being targeted for a different belief system. Husbands and sons being tortured and murdered just for following a different Gods path. How will a women feel leave a muslim women aside?
Jana Phiri When Aisha reported that she had not seen suffering worse than that of a Muslim woman, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) responded with empathy and reassurance. He told her that in the Hereafter, the suffering of a believer would be compensated with rewards and that their trials in this life would be a means of purification. Specifically, he said, “When a woman experiences hardship and suffering, she is like a man who, when he is sick, is in a state of continuous prayer.”
He basically said that you shouldn’t abuse your wife in the west not because it’s morally wrong, but because you might get into trouble. And if you are in the east it’s just fine.
@odedskaliter4264 no, he meant if a man believes the symbolic hitting will not make the situation better, he's prohibited to do it at all, because it would no longer serve the purpose of keeping the family harmony. This is also what scholars have agreed upon.
Islam is the criterion over science and every other partial truth, not the other way round, so to call Islam scientific is to subject the ultimate truth to a limited principle.
@@muslimtothelast "As we get closer to Islam, we come to realize that it is the ultimate truth, the criterion by which all else should be measured. Islam is not to be judged by the standards of science or other partial truths, but rather, it is the benchmark against which all knowledge and understanding should be evaluated. To call Islam 'scientific' would be to subordinate the absolute truth to a limited and imperfect human construct, when in fact, Islam transcends and encompasses all partial truths. So i apologize for it 🙏
Acts 17:16-19 Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols, Therefore he reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and with the Gentile worshipers, and in the marketplace daily with those who happened to be there. Then certain Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him and some said, "What does this babbler want to say?" Others said, "He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign gods," because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection. And they took him and brought him to the Areopagus, saying, "May we know what this new doctrine is of which you speak? Like the apostle Paul, Christians are trying to share the good news of the glorious gospel of salvation. Jesus Christ went to the cross so we can be saved and go to heaven, all we have to do is believe that Jesus is God, and obey the gospel. What time of grace we are living in! Praise the Creator of the universe, Jesus Christ.
@DifficultyEnjoyer John 17:3-5 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
@DifficultyEnjoyer because when Jesus was on earth, He was split from the Father, that's why it says in verse 5 "with" because before the world was created Jesus was with God. That's why Jesus said that the Father is Greater then Him, because He was on earth in a human form.
This isn’t two people opposed it’s two people asking questions they were set up to ask these questions with no rebuttal. Also Islam seems to be pulling that Kemetic community stunt where they are trying to rewrite historical meaning to their texts just like Kemet are trying to rewrite meaning of the hieroglyphics . Deceptive in my opinion
When the Quran says something that sounds bad, Muslims almost always claim that the "context" is important and that the verse(s) applied only to a particular incident in time. The Quran however is supposed to be eternal guidance and if you take the time to read what the best Muslim scholars say in the tafsirs for example, they take these verses as general instructions to be applied in any situation (as does Sharia, the final interpretation of the Quran and hadiths), not as "history". MH knows this very well, he's just trying to make Islam/Quran look good to those who don't bother to read the sources.
For your information, though you should know this if you watched the video, only one of the arguments (the first one) actually used this logic. I do agree that this is not a completely correct or satisfactory response, but the video as a whole is meant to be shorter and I suppose Hijab was unable to elaborate. The verse in question, ordering the killing of polythiests, though mainly targeted towards the Muslim armies of the time, can apply today in similar situations. There is no saying polythiests will forever agree to treaties with Islamic countries, and if such a situation arises it is understood that this is the order. Also, this order by Allah is subject to the orders of the rest of the Qur'an, including the rules of war mentioned in it, which disqualifies the possibility of massacres on innocent civilians. If this response is unsatisfactory, please reply with a counterargument. I bid you a good day.
what was the context? war. so how does this act as guidance? in a future war, that is the law. you wrote a whole lotta garbage when its as simple as kids learning from story books.
Watching from California. Thank you for helping me to understand these verses from the Qur’an, and for giving me a broader more informed perspective of Islam.

Why use any form of the word beating if you don’t want the man to hit the woman..why leave something to interpretation where you have to work so hard to manipulate it to what’s intended instead of what’s stated?
Listen, Islam raised the status of women. Before Islam, they did not have any rights. As for disobedience, beating is symbolic and is not intended to cause harm. It is a last resort so as not to break up the family. It does not mean ever showing dominance. God does not want you. Never be humiliated in front of a male person. Also, there is disobedience to the husband. If a woman can punish a man with symbolic beatings after using her own methods, then do it. You and I both know that men will not respond, and Islam is a practical and realistic religion. In this case, the woman goes to the judge or whoever takes her father/brother to complain about him, or he will first give advice. With good words and warnings, and if that does not work, he is flogged. Yes, and it is not a symbolic beating. No, it is a real beating. Therefore, the man is also punished when he is disobedient and does not give the woman her rights. Islam is a religion of justice. Trust that God has wisdom in everything.♥️ The relationship in Islam is never By dominance, however with understanding and love between the two parties and patience with mistakes. Each other and if one of them cannot be patient, they can separate with respect, so trust in Allah🥰 Finally, our role model in Islam is the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, who never insulted or hit a woman, but rather enjoined the fear of God in her, and the best person who applied the Qur’an is the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace.
@@neoastral7950 I know that Daraba has many meanings, but an interpretation must be taken of more senior scholars, such as Ibn Abbas, and the Messenger never beat his wives, and this is nothing but symbolic. Because Islam commands good relations 🤗
@praneelarora11 why would we have to work hard to manipulate the intended meaning when the prophet Muhammad pbuh never beat his wives and strongly rebuked people who beat their wives and prohibited the beating of wives? The only people who are manipulating the verses of the Quran are the people who are hellbent on making Islam seem bad...
In terms of inheritance, men need more money also because a man has to give more money such as when he takes a wife, women need less because a woman will receive money when she accepts a husband. I know there are other reasons too.
Qur'an 4:34: "Men are in charge of women by what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those from whom you fear disobedience - advise them, forsake them in bed and strike them ..." Strike them ... but with a siwak 😂
Regarding the answer of Surah-Al Nisa and the 34th verse; The context of violence in the Quran is great, as it was in the Bible and the Torah. The word 'daraba' means to hit, not to strike. A basic movement like this is what you do to your child, when he or she has a habit of throwing tantrums or is being vindictive with his or her siblings. Do not strike your wives as you strike your brothers. Even with this, the hadith offers a follow-up recommendation from the prophet; Do not hit believing female servants of Allah (you cant even hit them) This offers context on the jurisprudence of punishment within a family. ie The only time you can even motion to hit, is when she is a disbeliever, one who does not obey the commandments of her Lord, not you. And Allah knows best, so if an injustice happens she has a right to uphold her grievances when all souls are judged. All of this, in the context of a situation with enough conditions to blow up in this manner. We must remind everyone that islam is not for this life, but the trial for the next as well.
Regarding interest; It is disastrous in consequence to an economy because it destroys a currency. This leads to all sorts of undesirable symptoms like inflation, shortages, waste, market swings and wars.
2nd question is not answered properly I think. In the ayat the word used is fear , men are not afraid when wife is angry or not listening , this thing only raise the temper or give them headaches, they are afraid only when they think the wife is not loyal to them. It is only in that case to make them realise thier mistake they are asked to first advise them to stop, 2nd separate them from you and then in the last case if they are still not loyal then beat them is allowed that too only with the thing like miswak gently and not on the face or in bad way, just as a last chance for them or for you to save ur marriage and help them to get out of a sin. So don't use this ayat for unreasonable beating and matters. It is actually a test for a man that if they think their wives are not loyal even then they should have some self control and don't listen to their nafs directly. Men are the protec-tors and maintainers of women1 because Allah has made one of them excel over the other,2 and because they spend out of their possessions (to support them). Thus righteous women are obedient and guard the rights of men in their absence under Allah's protection.3 As for women of whom you fear rebellion, admonish them, and remain apart from them in beds, and beat them.4 Then if they obey you, do not seek ways to harm them. Allah is Exalted, Great.
100 percent you can tell he is not being disingenuous to the people he is talking to like his normal videos in speakers corner plus he is actually trying to explain without coming across as he better than anyone else which is definitely not his normal m.o
Actually I read the whole verse regarding the beating wife question, and my understanding is different from brother hijabs. It says beating as the last method, and the conditions are only if the wife "disobeys" the husband. Disobedience in this case according to some scholars is disobedience going to the level of Zina as I remember, only then these punishments can be done in the order: 1. Verbal admonition, 2. Separation of beds (all the more reason to accept the view of scholars I mentioned above) 3. And the last thing told is about the beating. Even after all these are told in the verse, it's said that if the wife is obedient not to even search for faults in her. And next verse says that if there's disagreements and fights then they can bring people from their respective families to intervene and mediate, either find a solution to stay together or separate for good of both parties
Yeah, this was my understanding too. I think Hijab could’ve done a better job explaining this, but I mean he had 60 seconds to explain a very nuanced and procedural statement.
That seems like the correct understanding . However he is right in saying the level of hitting said by the scholars is using a toothpick or something of similar stance as it’s supposed to be more symbolic
@@MegaFatz I think this is bending the real meaning. If it says beating that it is beating. It is whatever the Quran says not what the scholars say. Don't you think this is all dumb. These rules are rules applied in those days. I think what matters in Islam is believing in one God and his creation. The rest is details that don't matter.
@@Lucy-my1cl that is a vary dangerous statement. We follow the Quran and sunnah but how it was understood by the pious predecessors and salafs that followed . We do not try to understand it for ourselves. Aqeedah is the fundamental and I agree that most Muslims need to work on that and their relationship with Allah (that’s what I tend to focus on) the rest is details which just clarify certain situations so that we continue to be on the right path.
You don't have to hit your wife whether it will cause pain or not... Besides if hitting your wife is not to cause pain then what is the point of hitting her. You can't defend this Hijab. This is wrong

The Quran has been preserved through divine protection promised by Allah, the memorization efforts of the Prophet Muhammad’s companions, and the careful compilation and standardization by Caliphs Abu Bakr and Uthman. This ensures its consistency and protection from alteration. The term "Quran" means "recitation" in Arabic, highlighting its nature as a text meant to be recited and read aloud. This is why we continue to read and protect it in its original Arabic.
At the 6th hour of the 6th day of the 6th month of the year 2026,all the souls of the living and dead will stand in judgement. IT IS FINAL JUDGEMENT DAY
After I have read the Quran, I realized that all what humanity needs is this heavenly law. “The legislation of Quran will spread all over the world, because it agrees with the mind, logic and wisdom.” - Leo Tolstoy .
I pray in my own language as God knows every language and prophets came from every nation and had their own language. As long as the meaning of the words are the same that’s all that matters.
I had an interest in ISLAM i brought the Quran, the following night i had a dream and a woman gave me a golden crucifix and said "take this" then i had another biblical based dream, I went to church got blessed by priest and now i have faith in the Lord..Previous to all this i didnt follow any religion, So Christ is the right path for me personally I dont want to be arrogant and say all none-christians are wrong. Read up on some history before believing in Bronze Age superstitions. Yahweh was one of several late Bronze early Iron Age gods that the early Israelites followed, along with Baal. Yahweh and Baal were two of the sons of the Sumerian god El, in ancient Ugaritic texts. Eventually Yahweh was adopted as their main and then the only god, adopting the characteristics of the other gods. From this, Christianity and then Islam emerged. Historically, we know that Jesus was an apocalyptic prophet, one of many, who expected the imminent end (as did Paul and the early Church Fathers).
SUBHANNALLAH,!,May Allah be pleased with Brother Mohammed Hijab for his efforts to clarify with such proficiency the questions put to him ,I found this segment extremely enlightening and inspiring . It would be so beneficial to the viewers to have Brother Mohammed Hijab on regularly to share his knowledge on a variety of Topics to help solidify our own understanding of the Quran and the reasons behind revelation.
4:34 does NOT mean hit. In the Surah of the cave ALLAH cuts off the noise of the world by striking, hitting, or pounding their ears. In the context of Surah al Nisa the word means "cut off all communication". In other words, LEAVE.
@@Jack-qz1lg OK, I asked my Sheikh today and he said the only thing that the Messenger and his companions spoke abut on this was regarding the men who raised their hands to their wives or hit them was that the Prophet said "these (as stated above) are NOT men." I then asked if there were any Qurans with "cut off communication" interpretation and he said he only knew of two. BUT he also said the word "DARIB" is used in the Quran twice 1. this disputed verse and 2. in the cave when ALLAH "DARIB" the boys ears from sound meaning BLOCKED. Other meanings of "DARIB" mean "stick, toothbrush, and leave" And ALLAH says (and i don't know Arabic so I am only paraphrasing my Sheikh.) ALLAH said something something something DARIB (walk, journey, leave, go) into the land. You might know more if you speak Arabic.
@@Relokagzzhe doesn’t actually. The second question on “hitting women” was interpreted by him differently, despite him literally saying that the word “daraba” means hit. You cannot, if you were a smart god such as allah claims to be, put words in the quran that be so easily mistaken to be negative if that was not his intention.
This guy is very skillful at lying and NOTHING that comes out his mouth can be trusted just like not one letter or verse has ever been changed yet still there are over 30 different Qur'ans which is why the standard Islamic narrative has holes in it...🤷🏽♂️💯 Hijab's interview with Yasir Qadhi is the BEST ever he's done‼️ Without lies islam dies ⚰️⚰️⚰️

I am from Kerala, India. I feel we are one of the most advanced communities in terms of criticising all religions including Islam, Christianity or Hinduism. Here atheists and ex Muslims thrive in debating culture and have exposed Islam in our own language ( Malayalam) and have made improvements in such a way that, there is an ex Muslim in each Muslim house hold. Okay, being objective here. Just looking at South Asia - same genetic stock. Look at the religions - between Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and India, which is the most peaceful that I would want to live in: 1 Sri Lanka - Buddhist, nice people, nice food, just good vibes. 2 India - I can stroll around beaches and go swim in the sea, yes, some men are rapey but if I don’t go out at night I will be safe. 3 Pakistan - same as India but definitely cannot go out in short sleeve t shirt coz I may be spat at. 4 Bangladesh - a mob lynched a tourist to death because someone said he insulted Islam. Ergo - from this analysis, Buddhism > Hinduism > Islam when cultural factors and language are accounted for in terms of most to least peaceful and most to least respectful of women. There is your answer.
If Islam really wanted to offend women, it would not have given them rights. Why don't you read about what women were like in that time? Also, do not follow the religion that you like or suits your whims. Follow the truth, for it is the truth and what will benefit you
So the way it was explained to me regarding the ayah to “hit/beat your wife,” is that it refers to a specific context here which is prophet Ayoub’s wife whom he because upset with and swore he’d hit her if he regains his health, and when he did he regretted and asked Allah for guidance bc he loved her so much and didn’t want to. So Allah told him if you worry about breaking the promise to me then grab a few blades of grass and gently “hit” her with it, signifying the importance of upholding your promise to Allah. Again this is a very specific context and prophetic story that’s purposely taken out of context by Islamophobes who don’t even realize how horrific and oppressive their books and religions are.

Daraba actually used differently in all other verses of Quran, it translates to "to distance" or "to move away" in English. It can refer to both physical distancing and creating emotional or relational distance. Obviuosly the majority of the translations are wrong and serves to men hegomonia. At least there are also scholars who translate it correctly.
I'm a non believer here is my question and I think it's the only question that matters. Considering the Quran is a book written by men, in which way do you claim to link it to link it to the creator of the universe
We link it like this- 1.God send a Man on earth as His prophet. 2.Then He revealed his prophethood 3.He proved it through miracals and his good character/morality. 4.God communicates to his prophet from an advanced Godly way of communication because he is the chosen one only he could take it. 5.He revealed the message from god to his companions and they wrote it down. 6.The process goes for 23 years and all of the Quran was written. 7. Then It was memorized and put together for ease of the believers, and thought till today, unchanged.

What did Muhammad say when Aisha said she has never seen a suffering women as Muslim women
that hadith literally answers itself. read the full thing.
@@shonehi546tim9 So basically Aisha lied when she spoke about the suffering of Muslim women?

When Aisha reported that she had not seen suffering worse than that of a Muslim woman, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) responded with empathy and reassurance. He told her that in the Hereafter, the suffering of a believer would be compensated with rewards and that their trials in this life would be a means of purification. Specifically, he said, “When a woman experiences hardship and suffering, she is like a man who, when he is sick, is in a state of continuous prayer.”

Why use any form of the word beating if you don’t want the man to hit the woman..why leave something to interpretation where you have to work so hard to manipulate it to what’s intended instead of what’s stated?
Arabic is not for the simple minded
Each other and if one of them cannot be patient, they can separate with respect, so trust in Allah🥰
Finally, our role model in Islam is the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, who never insulted or hit a woman, but rather enjoined the fear of God in her, and the best person who applied the Qur’an is the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace.
Islam was the first religion to give women rights
In terms of inheritance, men need more money also because a man has to give more money such as when he takes a wife, women need less because a woman will receive money when she accepts a husband. I know there are other reasons too.
Qur'an 4:34: "Men are in charge of women by what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those from whom you fear disobedience - advise them, forsake them in bed and strike them ..."
Strike them ... but with a siwak 😂
Time to interview Christian Prince, the truth will set you free to eternal Life 🙏🙏🙏
Regarding the answer of Surah-Al Nisa and the 34th verse;
The context of violence in the Quran is great, as it was in the Bible and the Torah. The word 'daraba' means to hit, not to strike. A basic movement like this is what you do to your child, when he or she has a habit of throwing tantrums or is being vindictive with his or her siblings.
Do not strike your wives as you strike your brothers.
Even with this, the hadith offers a follow-up recommendation from the prophet;
Do not hit believing female servants of Allah (you cant even hit them)
This offers context on the jurisprudence of punishment within a family.
ie The only time you can even motion to hit, is when she is a disbeliever, one who does not obey the commandments of her Lord, not you.
And Allah knows best, so if an injustice happens she has a right to uphold her grievances when all souls are judged.
All of this, in the context of a situation with enough conditions to blow up in this manner.
We must remind everyone that islam is not for this life, but the trial for the next as well.
Regarding interest;
It is disastrous in consequence to an economy because it destroys a currency.

Actually I read the whole verse regarding the beating wife question, and my understanding is different from brother hijabs. It says beating as the last method, and the conditions are only if the wife "disobeys" the husband. Disobedience in this case according to some scholars is disobedience going to the level of Zina as I remember, only then these punishments can be done in the order:
1. Verbal admonition,
2. Separation of beds (all the more reason to accept the view of scholars I mentioned above)
@@ShehuStebe many of hijabs answers were rushed. I think in his other videos he gave a more detailed and better answer than now
@@MegaFatz I think this is bending the real meaning.

I am far more fearful of wokism than fundamental Islam, so far in my life no Muslim has ever threatened or endangered me for following a different faith. I turned to Islam because I saw kindness and hospitality from its followers.

There is nothing special about Islam, it is just another religion ( just a bit more aggressive and which feel only they are true and all others are false)

Why can't you just focus on developing the society under the umbrella of humanity rather than developing or proliferating a religion.!! Just get a life man..just focus on creation to make each other's lives better. What's all your problem!!

I have four orphan children, and we are in the midst of a war of extermination, displacement, hunger, pain, wounds, and deprivation. They were martyred in this war. My family and now I'm alone without a father. Today, I make this appeal to you from among the rubble and destruction, my brothers. I live under difficult circumstances, an unjust siege, and a blind war that destroyed my city in which I live, and my home that houses my children’s dreams. Today, I found myself living on top of the ruins of my home in a tent no more than a few meters long, with me and my four children. This is a very difficult thing that no human being can bear. I live in very difficult conditions without food, water, and flour due to the siege, and we drink water. Polluted due to lack of money and my children’s fear of war, and now I am asking for help and assistance in order to restore the smile of life to my children, and I am in dire need of your contribution in order to rebuild my house that was demolished, and I ask (00970592511969)I wrote to you these short words that do not express a little of the pain and wounds that we are experiencing in Gaza, and I write these words to you while tears do not leave my eyes from the pain and cruelty of life. I hope that you will be supporters of my cause in all parts of the world and the ugliness of the injustice that we live in every day, but every minute. We lose loved ones every day. And do not forget the difficulty of life in a small tent that does not exceed a few meters. God was a protector for us from the heat of summer and the cold of winter in the tent, and today all my dreams are to drink a drop of cold, clean water in the summer and feed my children. Praise be to God in any case, this is God’s command. Note: I have a child who is sick in the eye, and he is forbidden by the doctor’s prescription from high heat and sunlight. How can he be in a very hot tent? Therefore, I ask you to help me in maintaining my house.

Okay, being objective here. Just looking at South Asia - same genetic stock. Look at the religions - between Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and India, which is the most peaceful that I would want to live in:
1 Sri Lanka - Buddhist, nice people, nice food, just good vibes.
Your being very general.
Fight The Quranavirus !!
If Islam really wanted to offend women, it would not have given them rights. Why don't you read about what women were like in that time? Also, do not follow the religion that you like or suits your whims. Follow the truth, for it is the truth and what will benefit you
@@AlaaLola-fx5fx Lord save us from the Quranavirus !
@@lionheart4552 he is the Lord who revealed the Qur’an
So the way it was explained to me regarding the ayah to “hit/beat your wife,” is that it refers to a specific context here which is prophet Ayoub’s wife whom he because upset with and swore he’d hit her if he regains his health, and when he did he regretted and asked Allah for guidance bc he loved her so much and didn’t want to.
Actually I read the whole verse.
@@shhdurgevvs from what I’ve read, some scholars even say it’s a mistranslation and does not actually mean beating but regardless thanks for the info.

Daraba actually used differently in all other verses of Quran, it translates to "to distance" or "to move away" in English. It can refer to both physical distancing and creating emotional or relational distance. Obviuosly the majority of the translations are wrong and serves to men hegomonia. I'm a non believer here is my question and I think it's the only question that matters.
Considering the Quran is a book written by men, in which way do you claim to link it to link it to the creator of the universe
We link it like this-
1.God send a Man on earth as His prophet.
2.Then He revealed his prophethood
3.He proved it through miracals and his good character/morality.
