When using very detailed cutters, I like to dip the cutter in powdered sugar before actually cutting into the dough. It seems to help with the release of the cookie and I haven't lost any little bits in the process. And I LOVE your technique of using a ruler when cutting the dough. Thank you for that tip!😀
Thank you! I have a KopyKake 300XK projector. It is big and old-school, but very reliable. It needs a printed image to project, but no internet connection.
Depending on the next steps, sometimes yes, sometimes no. For those polka dots on the onesies, the icing had to be wet. For the finishing details, the icing had to be dry. If the icing is just a few hours old, it seems the next details will not crater.
I buy my cookie cutters everywhere, in stores, online, etc. If I am looking for a particular design, I just check out what I can find online. My favourite shapes are always plaques, they are so versatile.
@@SweetHandmadeCookies Beautiful Cookie Cutters... I am buying them everywhere... even eBay! Plaques are the BEST... so versatile. Not rude, it's a valid question. It's my meringue powder that makes my icing delicious. I've tried other meringue powders that I didn't like, but this one smells great and makes the icing taste great as well. Granted, you need a sweet tooth to enjoy cookies like this, because they really are sweet. :)

Not to be rude, but why does your icing taste so good? You didn’t add any flavoring so it was pure sugar.
