Kinda funny for me, they actually manage to spook me just a little bit but I think that's mostly because they remind me of how the zombies from Resident Evil Remake sound. Played that on Wii when I was probably a tad too young but hey it was cool.
I’d like to see a zombie movie that deals with supernatural causes or at least a mystical plague. Everyone expects a headshot to down a zombie only for it to get back up, that’d be something.

I really miss these types of zombies and tense scenes. Yes they're slow asf but that's what makes em so menacing and could make you much more scared you could possibly miss that headshot that by the way is the only way to kill them.
i can see a few movie references like razor being a reference to trash from return of the living dead and the eye scene from lucio fulci's zombie, though i could've sworn the lil weird dude with an odipidus complex and the game's name was another reference to a different Italian or French horror movie with the same zombie concept.
If theres one thing i hated about this playthrough, it was the fact you would go into unexplored areas without your gun drawn!! It made me tense up each time lolol

Man i wish devs werent in such a such a hurry to release games imagine this game in a modern take im so tired of all these throwbacks enough already this could be an amazing game if they just took their time and made a contemporary game in a modern engine. I understand that it really saves ALOT of time you dont have to bother with physics or high res textures or high polygon numbers.
