Haha, thank you! I think I first tried 3DS Max when I was about 13. I had a trial version of it. I'm now 21 and have been using it on and off since then, so, quite a while! I'm a pretty fast learner though. I'm happy that I can inspire others to get into animation / film making! =3

All the shaders in this were made in 3DS Max 14; Ink & Paint and Arch & Design materials mostly. I used Mental Ray to render, with 'fast-interpolated' reflections to make them blurry / glossy.
And yup, all Orthographic cameras, with a Skylight and an Omni light per scene. =)
It allows you more control in the editing stage. Example; you can alter how dark the shadows are, or their colour, without having to re-render everything each time.
Most people don't pay attention to signs in portal 2 but repulsion gel was meant to be eaten as a dietary pudding because the foods consumed would be covered until the bounced back up as blueish vomit THE MORE YA KNOW...
That's actually in the full video if you look closely. There are a few little easter-eggs like that. XD
This is like magic to me, I have NO idea how any of this is done actually. You could just show yourself mixing a can of beans with some pieces of burst balloons and then sending it to space, claiming it resulted in the video, and I wouldn't have reason to doubt you.

Harry, I'm not saying you have to do it but I have a good idea of what to do for your next song. I've always loved your nightmare before Christmas ones (especially this is aperture) and think you should do one of the "What's this" song. It could be about Wheatley discovering his new abilities in GLaD0s' body. For instance, "What's this? What's this? I shoot cubes everywhere! Oh look! They're falling from the air!" You don't have to but I think it's a good idea.
