Emerald Isle Kayaking Flipped

Dec 31, 2012 Emerald Isle NC Kayaking on Yak. Didn't look so bad from the beach but I probably shouldn't have gone out. Capsized in the surf. Footage taken on my GoPro I got for Christmas.

Kayaking is on my bucket list. Thanks for filming this! now if I ever get to go, I will make sure its in calm water, and that I tether myself to the boat or something! that looked scary. lol

thanks for the footage -- been there, done that! I can't seem to launch in the EI surf without getting my yak turned sideways & flipped -- even when it looks calm out there!
