This is by far my favorite loadout in hunt ...i call it the torcher build. Take fire everything and all fire traits/equipment . It provides so much pressure it makes most teams panic!!!! Krag is best but i also like lemat carbine with it
I completely agree, I absolutely love running fire on lots of weapons but the strength of a 40m if ignite is super strong. I personally run FMJ on the lemat as you may have seen in my previous video, however I always tend to run fire on my secondary which is the Bornheim match, it's like a pocket SMG of fire! 😆 Thanks so much for commenting and sharing your thoughts I really appreciate it and I hope you enjoyed the video 🤠
Honestly sometimes after hours of playing, when you miss that jump or shot due to a rubber band terrain it's just gets on my nerves 😂 I come from CS where the movement is crisp and predictable to often times I can get annoyed at that stuff in particular. Idk if it is just me, but it feels like crytek hates Mako. Mako's bullets drop at 115 meters while all the others at 130-140+. It has only 2 more damage than the Krag and lower fire-rate. It is more expensive than Krag and let's not forget, compared to the other long ammo bolt action rifles, it has the slowest bullet. My question remain, does Crytek despise Mako that much or have the completely forgotten this weapon? What is even the benefit of it when Krag and Berthier that are cheaper and more effective are simply a better option? Honestly, i wouldn't mind if they simply increase the bullet drop range because 115 for a LONG AMMO gun is simply pretty dumb, i get it martini has a very fat bullet thats why it is at 120 meters drop but Mako? It makes not sense.
I agree, I do think the Mako is a bit under loved. The krag imo outshines everything right now, however the Mako cant even compete with really any of the long ammo rifles. Its not that its a bad weapon, its just not a good option compared to the rest. I hope they can tune it up a little, but not enough to make it even stronger than the Krag, I think the Krag should be the limit of effectiveness for long ammo, and currently its insane as I hope my video showcases 😆 Thanks for sharing your thoughts and I hope you enjoyed my video 🤠I may make a Berthier video in the near future in particular as I think it's quite underrated :)
@PanzerPC it's a very good video and I 100% agree. The Krag is simply right now the best long ammo rifle. Hopefully Mako gets love to become a solid choice among the long ammo rifle since it really is my favorite among them too.
Krag is probably my favorite but I am relatively new and was advised against ever using incendiary because of the tracers. I will have to try this today. The DLC hunter I want the most right now is The Reckoning Son :) keep up the great content!

With regards to the tracers, in my opinion, experienced players can find your exact location from a standard round, however the only time fire becomes a hindrance is on suppressed weapons. The tracer completely gives away your position that would be otherwise hidden 😆 I think currently fire can be really strong when played aggressively, my play style typically is quite aggressive and my firing positions are normally quite engaged so I'd rather thave more damage than secrecy personally. I haven't had much experience with the trueshot, I should give it another go! I enjoyed crackshot dual conversions during this event but I generally don't use dailies much 😆 I hope you enjoyed my video and thank you very much for taking the time to comment 🤠
I don't think fire as a status effect is that strong, since the pressure can be countered by a trait (poison at least takes an antidote shot) and dumdum always makes an effect even with bloodless and they can continue to face you down while burning unlike with dumdum. But it does keep them out of the fight for longer as reduced health makes peeks riskier and I feel the burning sound effect on a hunter is much easier to pin point for a chase down or wall bang.
With dum dum primarily being scarce now, and most teams running boons I think fire stands quite strong. Dum dum will always most likely be the best however the potential to permanently lower someones HP with fire and apply such pressure is great. The audible and visual cue is great too. Once boons arent around, and other dum dum options come to light, perhaps fire wont be as strong. However at the moment, fire is pretty damn good for pressure in particular for team fights, the Krag is just insane with any round really 🤠
Quick tip, the strongest is krag silencer, but you just need to be smart enough not to take subsonic ammo, like rakta for example. But you were close in your analysis

nice video i like the krag but have trouble when i dont have a scope :P my favourite are Skull taker, Hyena and Seawolf (i dont know if seawolf is from dlc :P)
What would be your favourite scoped weapon? And do you mean long range scope or simply deadeye upwards? I really struggle with anything outside of iron sights 😆 My brains and hands have gotten so used to using iron sights at all ranges so Its very rare you'll see me using any kind of scope! Coming from escape from tarkov where every gun has a scope pretty much i was really struggling with hitting shots when not using the lebel marksman, it became somewhat of a crutch for me until i grew addicted to using the drilling haha. every now and then i go back to the lebel marksman and i always do super well but now i really fear short range fights where i don't have my irons. it's a true give and take - great game design@@PanzerPC
I dont think this gun ever needed the buff to 126 damage considering its fire rate was already one of the highest long ammo guns. Good stuff Panzer. IF YOU GUYS DONT FOLLOW THIS MAN FOR PERFECT HUNT SHOWDOWN GAMEPLAY THEN WHAT ARE YOU HERE FOR!!!!!!
Yea it didn't need the buff 😆 I think an ammo buff to make it a high ammo long rifle would have been interesting but I guess they want to make all long ammo rifles consistent for having that 1 tap potential. This weapon is an absolute beast in the Bayou an no one is save. ;) I really hope CRYTEK doesnt do anything to beat it into the ground like the Dolch. Time will tell. Great Vid as well.
