After her song "Dzanum" which went viral all over the world thanks to Tiktok, now we have a sequel in the form of Ramonda. The title of Teya's song "Ramonda" references a flower known by its latin name "Ramonda serbica", an endemic species that only grows in Serbia, which is known for its ability to completely dry out and still revive once it gets water, a flower that can straight up come back from undead. Very similar to Ramonda Serbica is Natalie's Ramonda, flower of the same genus, In Serbia it's known as "Natalijina ramonda" named after the XIX century Serbian queen Natalija Obrenović and it's used as a symbol of victory in WWI. In Serbia, to mark this day we wear a phoenix flower - Natalie's Ramonda, capable of resurrection, just as Serbia after WWI, in which it lost almost 1/3 of people (60% of male population). In fact, the song can also talk about loneliness and the ability to have everything in its place one day. Just like Ramonda flower only needs a drop of water to come alive. Hope.
I don't care at all if it won...it's simply a musical masterpiece within an impeccable staging. Definitely one of my favorites . Thank you serbia for something so unique
Teodora (Teya Dora) wrote and composed this song. She studied singing at Berkley. This song is about Great War (WW1) and about Ramonda Serbica (Natalia's Ramonda phoenix flower) which represents ressurection of Serbian nation after that war or any other which we had to fight (we had lost one third of our population in WW1 and almost 2 million more in WW2)
Немој да тролујеш ,песма није посвећена борцима из првог светског рата ... Цвет је пронашао Панчић и расте код нас у Турској,Грчкој,Македонији,Албанији итд... Natalija's ramanoda, known as the "phoenix flower", became a symbol of Serbian suffering in the First World War, when almost a third of the total population died, since it has the characteristic that when a dry period occurs, it lies dormant and dries up, so that with the appearance of water it "resurrects" and turned green again. Rebirth is associated with the fact that Serbia also managed to "stand on its feet" after an exhaustive struggle.
Yes, Onur, you are right, everything is a fantasy....Thank you for the wonderful video....Teya Dora, we wish you great success in Malmo and many more good video releases for you....GREETING FROM BELGRADE....
🌸 Ramonda, endemic type of flower which grows on high dry mountains, hiding her beauty between rocks. Because of her magical roots, she has ability to be hybernated for eternity. Only few drops of water can make her bloom again. She is a symbol of hope. Rising from ashes, from being "dead", she hints us that blessings are always coming at the end of your tortured and strugling paths, even if everything seems withered. A little life that sleeps in a completly dried body.🌸
The flower is considered a symbol of Serbia's struggle and victory in World War I, with country suffering the largest casualty rate relative to its population.[8] To commemorate Serbian soldiers who died in war, as well as the resurrection of the country after the devastating war, people wear artificial Natalie's ramonda as a symbol of remembrance. Natalie's Ramonda is used to symbolize the Armstice in WW1 in Serbia. This tradition is observed in the week leading up to Armistice Day and is similar to the wearing of the remembrance poppy amongst the Commonwealth countries.
The song talks about the great suffering of the Serbian people in the First World War, when Serbia lost 1/3 of the total population, and almost 1/2 of the total male population. Ramonda is a flower that is endemic to Serbian lands, it is a phoenix flower that even if it dries up completely it can bloom again with a little water. It symbolically represents the Serbian people and the state, which came back to life after the almost complete destruction in that terrible war.

Ramonda serbica, also known as Serbian ramonda and Serbian phoenix flower, is a species in the family Gesneriaceae. The flower was first discovered in 1874 near Niš, Serbia, by the Serbian botanist Josif Pančić. Later, the flower has been observed across the Balkans.❤❤❤
As I see it, Teya is actually singing a new version of "Where have all the flowers gone" and if you now that song, you will understand that Ramonda is an anti-war song. Ramonda is the flower which symbolises the end of WW1, and Teya is saying "Where have all Ramondas gone" as once did Marlene Dietrich.
