This reminds me of how i had to jump so many obstacles and how i had so much pain inside me that i started writing poetry and songs of my own. So when it says "took this pain inside me, and turned it into gold" i felt it so much and to me it describes how i had to witness so many bad things in life but at the end the end i always find a better place inside me rather than reality.
