- Filmed during very changeable weather on a cold winter's day, thought I'd share some of the sights along this sea loch. All scenes filmed using a Mavic 2 Pro drone.

This my drive to work up and down Loch Long. It stirs fire up in my belly, makes me appreciate how beautiful our country really is, thank you for posting this.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
Its an awesome stretch of road from Whistlefields down in to Arrochar. Discovered it last year purely by chance and its exhilarating on a motorbike even at 45/50 MPH , just wish i'd taken my dashcam. Intending to go again this year once this lockdown is over.
Absolutely amazing video 📹 . Breathtaking views. Excellent videography. Awesome place to visit. Thanks for sharing. Stay blessed and connected.

Brilliant video! I will be fishing with my son on loch long this summer with my new dinghy. It’s a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing this.
Good luck with the fishing.
Brings back a lot of memories.
Glad to hear it.
Whilst kayaking over to torpedo pier from the village a mother whale and her calf past by within 50 meters of the kayak. It was an amazing experience.
Wow, that must have been amazing!
lovely
Thanks for watching Neil.
Thank you so much for your stunning video. I hope to buy Knocksderry castle when I have enough money one day. Love it!
Many thanks, good luck with the saving up.

Loved filming in Scotland as well! One of the most beautiful sceneries out there! Really enjoyed watching it. Great job!
Liked and subscribed!
4 months late in replying, but thanks very much DW.
I frequently joined submarines in the late fifties with a party of ordnance artificers and discharged torpedoes down the range from “A “ class and “T” submarines over three week periods and have many happy memories of going into Arrochar village and enjoying a few swift halves.
Thanks for sharing that David, I filmed the torpedo facility 5 years ago, the video is here. ua-cam.com/video/_-9exCgpPfo/v-deo.html

Thanks as always Anthony.
Thanks for sharing, looks amazing place to visit.
It sure is, no matter what the weather. Thanks for watching.
Yeah Alex was right today, the footage is fantastic! Great work.
Thank's Kirsty, Alex was right for once, just kidding, lol, appreciate the feedback.
The Hovering Scotsman correct!!
cracking sites and well edited
Many thanks for watching and commenting.
Excellent. Thought for a minute you were going to take it right to top of Cobbler - maybe next time :)
That's actually a great idea, i'd have to choose my takeoff position wisely but it would be possible to achieve this by flying down a bit then up to the top, then hopefully back to the starting point.
Good job mate 😁
Thanks mate.
Lovely shots. Maybe venture up the Glenloin loop sometime?
I took my previous drone there in the summer but the footage was overexposed so I didn't edit it. Will definitely return with the new drone when it's a bit warmer.
We used to gather shellfish with dad around 1956 at Arrochar. I think the shellfish was called something like Gabby Doos?
Sounds tasty.
You’re thinking of Clappy Doos 🏴
I can see my flat!
Thanks for watching.
Im beginning to wonder whether it was your drone that flew over from the other side of loch long over towards Glen Douglas and there was a group of guys on the 4x4 off road experience getting pissed up on the mountain..??I wonder lol
That wasn't me, thanks for watching.
@@TheHoveringScotsman alright, just thought I would ask. Was very odd just a group of us in the sticks and a drone comes to investigate us, initially we thought it was the MOD but noticed the guy on the other side of the loch.
just amazing enjoyed much what is your setting? and did you use luts? great work
Thank you. I just use auto settings, I don't use LUTs, and haven't bought any filters for this drone... yet.
Am sure that's the same Nordhavn berthed in near Largs ..
Yes it is.
@@TheHoveringScotsman Quality build they are .. You bought well . And quality footage you filmed . When you were sailing up the Loch were you stopped by the Police launches that venture up n down Coulport / Finnart . I noticed some Yachts berthed near the facility when i was taken pics from Ardentinny yesterday [ Saturday ]
I was in my car.
Stunning mate. P4P?
Thanks, everything shot on Mavic 2 Pro.
@@TheHoveringScotsman enjoyed that mate
Sorry, I meant 'Yabby Doos'
Is this h265 or h265 mate?
Uploaded in H.264.
@@TheHoveringScotsman Thanks for your reply mate. Going to go there tomorrow. Any idea where to park?
@@agrs1974 There's plenty of parking at Arrochar, it's £1 per hour.
@@TheHoveringScotsman ok mate thanks
Hello,
I am writing this comment to enquire about using some of the footage in this video for use in a local non-profit campaign for a short (~2 minutes) interview piece featuring some portincaple locals.
I am unsure if you'll have heard, but a large chunk of the area is being sold off to a billionaire and his development company for use as a luxury hotel and housing. Naturally the locals are none too pleased, as it's an area of outstanding natural beaty and many have chosen to live there to get away from the hectic nature of modern living. This development threatens all that, as well as the local wildlife and ecosystem.
As we have no formal budget, obtaining our own footage as high quality as yours would be impossible, and I was wondering if we could have permission to use yours? Unfortunately we can't pay much in the way of a licensing fee, but we would of course credit you fully.
Please get back to me if you have any further questions regarding anything I have mentioned here. I look forward to hearing from you, and wish you all the best.
Regards,
Finn Weatherstone.
Hello Finn, send me your email address here, I'll delete it as soon as I see it.
Wow. Amazing footage. You have my like. I also make drone videos and my latest one is my best work yet and it is only 2 minutes long. You think you or anyone reading this could give me some feedback on my latest video? I’d really appreciate it.
