You truly are impressive, talented. I appreciate your evolution and admire your endearing dedication, sincerely. What would you advice to someone who longs to perfect in this domain ? What to specifically cares for for, etc ? I thank you in advance for the attention you will have for my question
first of all, you need to have faith, willingness and a lot of calm during this work, concentration is key here, before something is created, you need to know that you will do it this way and not otherwise, practice a lot, watch and analyze the drawings of the masters of the 15th century, draw small drawings at the beginning or at least, it allows develop precision, always demand the most from yourself, draw with difficult techniques to master the line, only use it to create chiaroscuro, shapes, constructions, the best pen, nib and ink, because you won't use an eraser and with the help of a line you will learn to build whatever you want, draw spontaneously no be afraid of construction lines placed in a bad way, they will be a reference to improve and find these correct proportions.
try as much as you can not to measure the proportions with a pencil or fingers from the photo, draw as you see, use only a mirror for checking or turn the drawing and photo upside down, in the case of large objects only a mirror, put off difficult work for some time and then come back to them in a while it will allow you to catch errors, :) ,
measuring proportions with a pencil is ok! but not for science, for science we only train visual perception, if you only move with a pencil you will never teach your brain the right thing, it's like walking on crutches and clinging to these prostheses even though you can put them down, msjsomum effort don't worry about failures it will pass
Be at peace, I understand all of your words, I keep your advices, they are encouraging. I believe the thing that I lack the most is the observation of masters’techniques, and the observation of nature. What prompted your desire to draw this or that ? Why do you draw ? And by the way, what is your mother language ?
Super
