- Simple and quick plucker upgrade for most pluckers. We actually have a Yardbird plucker.
-Replaced factory plug with regular 110 v male plug.
-foot switch plugs in between plucker and extension cord.
-Added 3 way on water inlet, can control water inside plucker and have additional water to sprayer.
Can you make one of these, for the folks that don’t have that kind of money to buy one?
I could if I had the time and money myself. There’s a lot of videos out there that show how to build your own. Thanks for watching!
Okay, just FYI, you have chopped off the ground fault protection. You need to plug that into a GFI outlet.
Thanks for watching Paulie! As I do have an electrical background. Are you supposed to have GFCI? Yes. But in the real world…no. Works just fine.
great idea
It helped my back a lot!!! Thanks for watching Matt!
I just assembled mine and it won't turn on. The magnet senor is not aligned with the latches. I want to bypass it but don't know how
Thanks for watching Billy! Yea I’m not sure how to bypass the sensors.
Readjust the tub to align with the magnets.

This shows the tub coming off easier!

Well I got good news the manufacturer allowed me to redrill the holes for the magnets so they can align up and they are still honoring the warranty
Can you tell me the brand of plucker you have? Haven’t saw this one before. Really need one and DONT want to pay $4-600 for it. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Uncle Jabbo! Our plucker is the Yardbird. Yea they’re all pretty expensive.
You just cut off your G.F.C.I. protection when you cut your electrical cord. So now if your motor faults or anything else electrical you'll provide a path to ground..... which will be you.... bad..bad..idea..
It was trash! We’ve been using this hard and heavy for about 2 years. Thanks for watching!
@@squarecountyhomestead I was not trying to bash you at all. There is a reason the engineers placed a G.F..C.I. (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) on the end of the cord. I hope at least your plugged into a plug on the outside of your house. It as well as those around your kitchen sink, garage, bathroom are protected. (required by electrical code) across the USA.
I didn’t take as bashing my friend. As an electrician myself, I completely understand GFCIs. But I’m in Mississippi and an Outlaw of sorts. No codes apply to us. 😂
