Doing this workout on my day 3 pilates journey and just getting into moving my body again and I truly felt a difference in my body and felt it in my core. My lower abdomen felt worked on because im focusing on my core and lower back. Thank you so much for this video and being a source of motivation.
I know you're asking Zoe but I thought I'd tell you how I learned. There are a ton of videos here on youtube that will show you the correct way to do a pilates bridge. I had to learn the difference between pilates bridge and yoga bridge. Those videos were helpful for me. Just type in "correct way to do pilates bridge".
the most important thing during a bridge is keeping a neutral spine (make sure you aren't arching through your back to get your glutes higher) - this often means not lifting as high as you might want to! also ground down through the feet to help engage through the glutes and hamstrings💪
