    Hi Kit, very long time no see. Murray Ceff here, formerly from Melbourne. We hosted at least one of your workshops in Box Hill many years ago. I'm having massive low back problems these days, with poor hamstring flexibility and other issues that effect my pelvic stability. So good to find your videos on UA-cam, and great to see your teaching methods are even better than they were 20 years ago, not that I thought there was any room for improvement way back then. Cheers, Murray

      Hello Murray; only saw this now (the YT notifications process is opaque, and not helpful). Email me to talk about the low back problems: kit underscore 'L" at mac dot com,

    Such amazing videos kit. Could you ever make a video on the horse stance?

    • @KitLaughlin
      @KitLaughlin  6 місяців тому +1

      I can, definitely. Lower body body-weight strength training is what I do myself-no one needs a gym, unless you want to do bodybuilding (great pursuit, but not my thing at 71!). The horse stance is a staple of this kind of training (as well as many variations of the single-leg squat, speed skater squat, and Cossack squat), so thanks for the request. I will do this.

      @@icealpha1035 Meditate enough; do enough (just enough) resistance training, and stretch from time to time, and you will!

      @@KitLaughlin greetings kit, I was wondering if the mastery course had any focus on being able to get your bum any lower on the squat? I was planning on buying it this Friday

    • @KitLaughlin

      @@icealpha1035 Most definitely. The first module is called, Master the Squat, and it's the first module for a very good reason: the full squat is essential, and is the foundation for a large number of exercises/movements that are the foundation of all the rest to com in the later modules. We recommend to everybody that they start with Master the squad and Master shoulder flexibility.
      Getting the glutes lower is about quad and hip flexor looseness, and general hip looseness-coupled with the critical ankle flexibility that's needed to move your centre of gravity forward enough so you don't fall backwards.

      A pleasure. Once you can sit comfortably, and really relax, in the Burmese position, you can really explore your meditation, which is nothing more than, "What's actually happening now?"

    Avid stretch therapy follower and user of your programs. This routine was absolutely fantastic my hips and pelvis are a big problem area and they felt so nice afterwards!
    Kit, this routine doesn’t seem to intense and I am getting a benefit - do you think it’s okay to do this full routine most days of the week?

    • @KitLaughlin
      @KitLaughlin  Рік тому +1

      Sure, but try other routines from time to time, too. We want to find where tension is held in all places around the body, and release it-this is because any of these places can become painful while sitting for long periods. And do have a day off from stretching from tim e to time.

    Hi there 😊 quick question - do you change the leading leg in Burmese meditation position (left in front of the right and right in front of the left for your next meditation)?

    • @KitLaughlin
      @KitLaughlin  Рік тому +1

      I do, because I try to even up stress around the body as much as I can. I swap the leg placement every sit, IOW.
