I actually got to see this truck up close and visit with the driver while loading shingles in jonesburg Missouri. They had the best forklift operators at the plant to load him. The driver was a very nice guy who gave me a tour of the truck and trailer. This is one fine ride. There is not a spec of dust on this truck anywhere. The driver raised the hood and wiped his finger behind the frame rail and it was just as clean as if he washed his hands.
The piece of stainless he has across the front of the trailer where the connections usually are looks really nice. And the matching color reflective tape is a nice touch. It's all about the details.
Yes, also notice all of the shiny bits under the trailer, like on the horizontal parts under the trailer deck, and between the frame rails near the landing gear. OY...that's gotta be hard to keep that clean! And the color match tape was a nice touch, but I heard someone there saying they didn't think it was legal...IDK?
I was wondering the same thing too, cause I remember when it was cool to run all white reflective tape instead of the candy cane tape and the DOT's would write you up for it.
It's almost criminal for a rig to be that clean and shiny but I'm just glad it's not mine. I'd be scared a bird would poop on it. Thanks, SCotty! It was a good one!
Yes, no doubt many hours goes into keeping her clean, but she sure is pretty to look at and a person sure can admire the hard work of those that do keep her clean. Though I didn't say more than "hi" to the owner and tell him how beautiful his rig was, I could tell he was a proud papa to her!
Oh, sure thing. I couldn't even start a rig like that. It'd worry me sick. I know they have to work it or have a LOT of $$$ and let it sit. I'm just used to being off in holes and bushes here so I can't relate to a show truck much. But am glad YOU can and can get it out so I can shake my head at it! Thanks, Scotty! GOOD one!
Sorry, I couldn't live with the combination of such a beautiful truck and emissions motor. Gonna cost a fortune to keep that on the road after the warranty expires.
Yes sir. The one that opens and closes the video are my favorite...Just looking up into the sky with that immaculate KW grill. I don't normally give my pictures titles, but that one I call "The Kenworth Building", because it reminds me of a 1930's art deco style New York skyscraper. I mean there is The Chrysler Building, who says there couldn't be a Kenworth Building too? And I'm super proud that there isn't any touchup in those pics...no cropping, no color enhancement, nothing but getting lucky when I took them. Sure, it took several tries to get the stacks, the mirrors, the antennas, and the air cleaners balanced perfectly side-to-side with the hood and the KW hood emblem, but I finally got all the elements in these pics to workout for me.
eSPeeScotty very nice buddy, I was a little surprised at first cause you rarely take pictures. I like em, I'm going to have to plagiarize your idea next TFK.
Technically, I rarely post pics...I took over a thousand at TFK last year. But my camera isn't focusing super sharply. Most pics had just enough fuss to piss me off. Luckily everything just worked out on sweet new Kenny here. Happy top give you new ideas for photo angles...just don't claim The Kenworth Building as your own. I'm kinda proud of that one.

I sure believe that! It was a suuuuper clean rig and trailer.
Super clean must take a week to polish it
I know, right!?

Thanks again Lewie!

Yes sir! I love sharing the working trucks, the show trucks, and the working show trucks. I let the viewer be their own judge.

Were the pictures on here the ones you were talking about?

I tried to make that "Kenworth Building" picture the thumbnail pic for this video, but the resolution was too much for YT's standard. Total bummer.
