I was watching the cost of the 62 frame with the champagne ls you posted a while back as reference for my car and you pan to your ‘60 and say you are gonna start work on the panels. Chrome looks very high quality. Yes I know all about those older bumpers and how much work it takes to get them off and on. Your Undercarriage looks better than most peoples body paint 🙂 At least you waited to get help to install the bumper, good move. We were lucky to have a Local Machine Shop that made a great drive shaft and they were right on the money from the information you gave them. A little harder to find places like that now.................
You ever seen that Disney cartoon with the little blue car that is bought new, then goes through a few owners and becomes junked and someone buys it and gives it some love. That's what I imagine the life of this car👍
Would love to know where to get parts chromed? I'm restoring a 1960 Bubble top and need a few small parts chromed up....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Love following you here on the '60 lowrider. It gave me lots of insight on my rebuild.
Who are you gonna go with for a driveline and exhaust? I’m at a stopping point for those two as well and I live here locally in Houston Sugarland area don’t mind to drive if they’re worthy of their work

I used an engine hoist to do a bumper assembly once. Also used it to door other car parts like doors
its doable but easier with help.

I got a driveshaft from randys on Eastside and I ordered the magnaflow exhaust kit that I plan to make fit my headers. Well see..
Driveshaft video is set for next Saturday 6am
