I was there too. Sad to see how much of a roller coaster ride life must be like in the poorer clubs these days. Founder members of the Premiership, me and me brother would travel 80 miles each way every home game and most away games, cos they were that good, week in and week out. I'm off to weep for a bit now. Aye, I was there. What spoils it though for me are my memories of Athletic players acting like complete morons and big-heads at the night club I used to work in. It saddens me that Rick Holden got thrown out with Big Chief Big Head Andy Barlow chasing after him after they both threw chunky ashtrays at each other in the club- for larks. How moronic.
