Actually a great video but I would like to bring a correction that the cheap 15-20 Rs. Testers have a potential upto 400V and above since the lines we check in India are AC lines and they have a peak rms value ranging from 311- 350 volts so the tester should have been rated way above 300V as we don't normally get any shocks !

Thanks for this video.
But nutral is used as a return path and Earthing point is used as grounding to protect equipment. At the time of no load Nutral voltage is 0 V,so no current pass through tester , that's why it's not glow.

Resistor , neon bulb and Spring all are in series combination
Then why the current is not same through all the components ??
In series combination current is same and voltage is different across each component.

Neutral and ground potentials are not the same, simply neutral has a much lower voltage, depends on how far you are from the transformer (reistance of the wire from transformer to your home), and amount of current flowing through the neutral wire. I.e. Depends on load.

Chances to be breadboard is not working, if breadboard is working. then maybe your led is not working.
if both are correct then connect directly LED into your IC do not connect the resister and try it.
