New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ABF...
This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ brake pads and rotors on your 2010-2023 Toyota 4Runner. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:

+observer7418 Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
Awesome! It is a pleasure to watch a job done correctly. Detailed instruction narrated beautifully.
Done brakes on 9 different vehicles that I’ve owned and this rear brake set up was by far the worst I’ve done. Such a pain in the neck.
The rear calipers on 4Runner look like the front calipers on their cars and small suvs. Very easy to work on! The parking brake adjuster seems same as rear drum adjuster wheel for the 2nd gen Tacoma. Thank you for the video!
Make sure to keep your Toyota shims! Looks like the OEM ceramic pads are currently cheaper than aftermarket platinum level ceramic pads, but you need to reuse the shims.
Best instruction and style ive seen on youtube.
nicely done... thanks
If you are changing front and rear breaks do you have to bleed every brake separately? Or the the font breaks then back brakes? Or at the end can you just bleed the back brakes. Is there an order on bleeding brakes? Just got a 2018 4Runner but needs brakes
Excellent video! No grease on back of the shim plates? (Where it would contact cylinder from caliper)
Great video thanks for sharing your knowledge
No loctite on the caliper mounting bolts?
Isn't there a pressure pump for the master, therefore not needing to pump the brakes?
Why even mess with the parking brake adjustment just put the car in neutral to release the parking brake… 🤯
