Lately SWhite may be getting bad advice from people who are trying to make her more "lady-like"? I'm not sure it is necessarily "bad advice", and she hasn't abandoned her earlier "tom boy" style entirely. I wouldn't expect her to just keep doing the same thing all the time, she needs to explore her options and experiment with different styles. For what it's worth, I personally do prefer her t-shirt, baseball cap and ponytail look, as I think it's very cute. But she does doll up quite nicely too. Ultimately, it's not my place to tell her how to live her life. She seems to be figuring that out pretty well on her own. I'm sitting here watching this video, which was recorded exactly two years ago. Miss Xiao Bai has sure come a long way since then. She is really good in this recording, but her skills, style and level of showmanship have just skyrocketed since then! She has really grown so much. And now she is branching out into modeling, composing and singing as well. This young lady is certainly going to be a major force in the Asian entertainment industry! I am simply in awe of her!

Asian audiences tend to be very subdued. It's a cultural respect thing. I can assure you they definitely appreciate her performance. And I concur with you on the merits of both S.White and Vela Blue! Awesome ladies!
There is a large number of other really wonderful musicians in Taiwan as well! There are at least 7 or 8 other drummer girls, and many singers, dancers and other instrumentalists too. They have quite the culture for street performers there!
They save the cheering for the end. I've seen quite a few videos where they scream pretty good at the end. Also, I "accidentally" discovered them just last week, it popped up on another drum video I was watching, and since then, I got hooked, S. White and Vela Blue are both absolutely amazing and very entertaining
@@aaronryan3404 I suggest checking out miss Yu Chen Lee and her brother as well. They are both excellent performers. She also dances very well, both jazz and (believe it or not) tap! There are also a sizable number of much younger up-and-coming drummer girls roaming the streets and night-markets of Taiwan. Eevee is quite good and she also a protege of ManQing (Vela Blue) and Xiao Bai (S.White).
Totally agree, and I've been playing for about 33 years, not anymore though due to a shoulder injury from several years ago, so can't keep tempo too well anymore before my arm goes numb and I sound horrible, haha, so doing vocals now, at least my shoulder doesn't mess with that, haha. But she is phenomenal

FANTASTIC BABY !!!!!!! Since accidentally discovering S. White and Vela Blue I’ve watched almost every UA-cam vid I can find on these two. I could watch both of them all day. The Crowd on the other hand…………..I think this was filmed on the set of The Walking Dead ??????
Asian audiences tend to be very subdued. It's a cultural respect thing. I can assure you they definitely appreciate her performance. And I concur with you on the merits of both S.White and Vela Blue! Awesome ladies!

There is a large number of other really wonderful musicians in Taiwan as well! There are at least 7 or 8 other drummer girls, and many singers, dancers and other instrumentalists too. They have quite the culture for street performers there!
They save the cheering for the end. I've seen quite a few videos where they scream pretty good at the end. Also, I "accidentally" discovered them just last week, it popped up on another drum video I was watching, and since then, I got hooked, S. White and Vela Blue are both absolutely amazing and very entertaining
@@aaronryan3404 I suggest checking out miss Yu Chen Lee and her brother as well. They are both excellent performers. She also dances very well, both jazz and (believe it or not) tap! There are also a sizable number of much younger up-and-coming drummer girls roaming the streets and night-markets of Taiwan. Eevee is quite good and she also a protege of ManQing (Vela Blue) and Xiao Bai (S.White).

Totally agree, and I've been playing for about 33 years, not anymore though due to a shoulder injury from several years ago, so can't keep tempo too well anymore before my arm goes numb and I sound horrible, haha, so doing vocals now, at least my shoulder doesn't mess with that, haha. But she is phenomenal
