Gary Vaynerchuk is a serial entrepreneur and serves as the Chairman of VaynerX, the CEO of VaynerMedia, and the Creator & CEO of VeeFriends. Gary is considered one of the leading global minds on what's next in culture, business, and the internet.
Known as "GaryVee," he is described as one of the most forward thinkers in business. He acutely recognizes trends and patterns early to help others understand how shifts in consumer attention impact the realities of the business world today. Gary's approach sits at the intersection of business and pop culture. He keenly understands how to bring brand relevance to the forefront. He is a prolific angel investor with early investments in companies like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Venmo, Snapchat, Coinbase, and Uber.
This year, Gary will unveil two new books. In his seventh book, "Day Trading Attention" (set to be published on May 21, 2024), he provides fresh insights into navigating the modern social media landscape. Gary's expertise guides readers on harnessing underpriced attention channels in the digital age. He emphasizes mastering storytelling in these arenas and highlights the "TikTokification of Social Media," where content relevance surpasses follower counts. Businesses can leverage this shift to enhance their brand and boost sales. "Day Trading Attention" equips readers with essential skills to succeed in today's dynamic digital world. Gary also announced his first children's picture book, based on his VeeFriends characters, titled "Meet Me in the Middle” (set to be published on July 16, 2024). The picture book, which will prominently feature two VeeFriends characters, Eager Eagle and Patient Pig, delves into the emotional elements essential for nurturing children's empathy - a crucial skill for their future success.
Gary is an entrepreneur at heart - he builds businesses. Today, he helps Fortune 1000 brands leverage consumer attention through his full-service advertising agency, VaynerMedia, which has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Amsterdam, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur. VaynerMedia is part of the VaynerX holding company, which also includes Eva Nosidam Productions, Gallery Media Group, The Sasha Group, VaynerSpeakers, VaynerCommerce, and Tingley Lane Trading. Gary is the Co-Founder of VaynerSports, VCR Group, VaynerWatt, ArtOfficial, Resy, and Empathy Wines. He guided Resy and Empathy to successful exits -- which he later sold to American Express and Constellation Brands, respectively. He also owns a Major League Pickleball team called the 5s, is part owner of a Big3 basketball team, and is an investor in the revival of the SlamBall League.
Gary is also the founder and creator of VeeCon - a contemporary super conference that converges business and pop culture with innovation and technology. In addition to running multiple businesses, Gary documents his daily life as a CEO through his social media channels, which have more than 44 million followers and garner over 300 million monthly impressions/views across all platforms. His podcast, "The GaryVee Audio Experience," ranks among the top podcasts globally.
Gary serves on the board of MikMak, Bojangles Restaurants, Global Citizen Forum, and Pencils of Promise. He is also a longtime Well Member of charity: water.
Gary's life ambition is to buy the New York Jets.

Being successful on social media is just like running a business. You should upload things people want to see, just like businessman should offer product/service that people need. And when the growth becomes real, you can consider hiring people to help you run your channel more efficiently. The most difficult part is starting and growing of course, but consistency and hard work (with a bit of Famester of course to help) will always pay off at the end. Good luck to everybody, we will all succeed one day!!

Wow what a gem around 11:00 - social media started by first building an audience and followers, then a percentage of them will see the post…now the CREATIVE finds its AUDIENCE 💎📝🤯 thats what i needed to hear in order to level up my music artist career, especially when it comes to knowing that ATTENTION IS THE ASSET in branding, building an audience, and the creative content i put out, thank you Gary and your team for this amazing informative video 🙏🏽 - with gratitude, LaynoProd 👨🏽‍🎨

Great insights on the power of attention for brand building. For entrepreneurs looking to capitalize on social media opportunities, remember that platforms with less saturation can offer higher organic reach. Early adoption and content innovation are key to gaining a foothold before these spaces become crowded.

While AI may replace some jobs, it will create many new jobs. We're hurtling into a new tech AI world so its important we as humans prepare for this especially our next generations (our kids etc). AI will supercharge businesses!

It’s a little nerve racking understanding that AI is advancing so fast. Lithium is another one that going to dominate within the next few years and make even more tech become obsolete like petroleum vehicles and machinery. A new industrial age is in the works if not already here.

Can you explain why lithium and I know the country Chile owns the largest reserves of lithium at this moment.

    • @lesliethesomm
      @lesliethesomm 25 днів тому +1

Yeah for the top 1%.also ppl keep over liking the fact that the globe might go on strike bc lithium is causing more issues than oil ever did

I love how the influencers are like AI and day trading is the future when day trading even with ai ppl still lose 98% profit. Then people getting deep fakes getting taken down and actors fighting ai likeness, I’m pretty sure none of this will happen bc also ppl are about to revolt

19:50 ... I'm uncertain about what Gary described. How will a brand builder "own" the AI influencers? Right now if you use AI to create images or music you don't legally those. It doesn't seem like that's going to change unless I'm missing something. So if I create an awesome Betty Boop using AI I won't be able to own her. Yes I can surely create content and earn money but without the trademark that could hurt the sustainability of my brand as compared to one that was created through organic means.

human beings will always be able to tell whether it is an AI or human, because it is not with the EYE that we sense one another's humanness, it is with our SOUL. The soul has data beyond what technology can quantify.

I guess we will probably need to disclosed that it is AI generated. I wonder how this will play out as AI advances. As Gary mentioned, AI generated now is "rounded" so when it is indescernable, do we need to be transparent about it? AI will probably be the norm and no one will care or vast majority won't.

Haven’t watched the full video but just the first bit about not telling if it’s AI or Human…. Aren’t they putting something in place that will tell viewers what percentage of AI was involved in the copy or video or image etc ? Sure I heard or watched something about that… it kinda HAS to happen otherwise humanity is screwed … real content by real people will be trump AI all day of the week… and if we are aware of the percentage of AI in the content you are consuming then would you watch it ? Depends how good it is I suppose 😂
