I remember reading a mindfulness book called 30 Days to Stop Overeating by Harper Daniels. It taught me mindfulness meditations...it wasn't so much about diet as it was being present and knowing the self more...and that helped me detach from bad foods.

@108gi5 aree bhai guest bhi sahi hain lkin aagr koyi puri Ayurveda ko hi galat bata de toh iska kya logic hain. But the thing is that Indians khud aapne Ancient wisdom ko backward kehkar chor dia hain aur western yehi Ancient wisdom ko pakad ke aage badh raha hain. Western people murkh Honge aagr woh backward chije follow karte hain. Kisi bhi chij ko relevant na kehna aapne aap meh hi murkhta hain joh aaj ke culture ke baseline hain.
@@GameWaveGuru as you can see from my comment I'm trying to follow the same logic as you said. Actually my reply was to OP, coz there's this long standing view going around that we r stupid today and all ancient knowledge is wisdom and somehow better than everything we know today. Then there's this other view that to question anything we did 5000 yrs ago means you are insulting indian culture and promoting some western agenda. Truth is there is a benefit to a hybrid approach as you correctly said. Take what's good leave out what's bad. An urban man is not a farmer nor does he live the life that ayurved prescribed and assumed in its hypotheses 5000 yrs ago so obviously some changes may be attempted. This is the same condescending attitude by op that makes people attribute everything everywhere in the world today to "ancient Indian science" and then present the same things in the Indian science Congress. We need to stop
All the food, lifestyle and practices of today can never be solved by knowledge of people who lived 5000 years ago Times have changed and so should your knowledge

Krish asok is a software professional. He is neither an ayurvedacharya, nor a doctor, not a nutritionist and not even a trained food scientist. He might have his opinion but there is some way to go before he can authentically debunk anything
I have also seen his other videos... he deeply believes that he knows a lot... but, in reality he knows nothing and have a very surface level knowledges about all the things he takes up!
There is a difference between correlation and causation. While Ayurveda was born out of correlations and speculative hypotheses, it does offer some ideas. But it is NOT as rigorous as modern scientific advances. Through trial and error and speculation one can solve some problems. Understanding gravity and launching rockets, or understanding proteins and solving anemia, is different from seeing that eating particular leaf solves throat pain. Science requires understanding. Thousands of astrologers predicted the timing of Halley comet. Newton equations predicted its orbit. Please understand the difference. Correlation isn't everything.
lol for a 2 minute question on how he started he gave a 10 minute answer which never clearly answered the basic question. 😂😂 Stop getting into fraudsters.
I always listen to your podcasts but reading the caption and the guy you invited I am skeptical of watching it . I have seen this guys reels and I find this guy thinks that Ayurveda not a science and they said things randomly to be followed . He doesn’t understand that Ayurveda came up with concepts and solutions through trials and observations and wisdom learnt through experience. And this guys blurts out every possible nonsense in the name of science.
Also, i do not understand people's obsession with science. Our knowledge about things evolve with time. For example, nobody knew the dangers of white sugar 60 years ago. Cigerette smoking was also socially and medically accepted.
Arey itna faltu extra bol rahe hain…. Content is less and the podcast is so lengthy…. Can’t follow unnecessary talk till for almost half hour… Content creators must look into it… I appreciate the intention but people like to listen to important concentrated knowledge not your whole interaction for hours.
I feel like people want to be vegetarian or nonvegetarian or somewhere between it is their personal choice and that's only how it should be this is only what I want to say at the end And also there is one request that please change the title of the video it's a little offensive..
Ridiculous title about ayurveda , ayurveda doesn't actually suggest detox it suggest " langhana " which is done during some specific diseased condition as the first line of treatment further medicines are also used . *Try to remove the word "ayurveda" From your title let it be just detox which is modern terminology not our ancient science.
A classic case of debunking a brand of pseudo science to endorse another brand of pseudo science. This is nothing but promotion of Own prejudiced beliefs by branding then as a science
Milk was boiled even 5000 thousand years back. And even today we boil raw milk and drink. That is pasteurisation. So sir, please don't misguide people with half knowledge. U think, ancient people were moron.
And btw it is not just about the generations not accepting changes... even there are umpteen places in Trivandrum I been to where they cook delicious food in wood fire vegetarian or non vegetarian which cannot be matched by foods cooked in any new gadgets or methods on taste or flavor....same hold true with why they have wood fired ovens in usa etc we find in some of those restuarants...and even using coal or wood barbecues etc...

Ancient time meh aj ke jaisa kaha itna tarakki thi tab Ayurveda aur baki chij hi humanity ke liye Kam karte the aur aaj ka science uss sab topic ke based pe hi grow hua hain.
You must be ultra smart pro Max to still follow what people did 5000 yrs ago.
All the food, lifestyle and practices of today can never be solved by knowledge of people who lived 5000 years ago
Times have changed and so should your knowledge
WhatsApp level gyan always existing.. WhatsApp exist now 😂 .. perfect true line.
Why cant india ban ayurveda?.. is it only coz RSS rules india?... or is there any thing good at it?
This podcast i need in Hindi .... please,,,
I dont think he can speak hindi fluently. He is from Tamil nadu
Mustard has a flavour…. The chutney transforms with mustard tadka…what is he talking….
OMG 😅 I want to drink water listening to that * gulp * 😂
Goats and monkeys are also animals. But they dont eat animals.
Bhai apka camera angle bada ajeeb hai
Face ke samne ho toh accha lagega
Views come hai shayad video English me hai isliye
But maja aa gaya
Kafi kaam ki bate
How you know it's TRUE checkout yourself first in your experience
vinamre bhai kbhi kisi vegan ko bhi bula lo you always call such people only and not vegans are you afraid that they gonna change you mind or gonna mak more sense
Vegans have superiority complex.
Btw I am a Vegetarian but I don't care what other people eat
Lot of bs - like AIM - about milk and food. Man adjusts to the environment and available food. Groundnut oil in Andhra? Really? This half wit maveric is bluffing through his hat.
A good podcast ruined by the way it is shoot. Call Krish to your studio
Krish asok is a software professional. He is neither an ayurvedacharya, nor a doctor, not a nutritionist and not even a trained food scientist. He might have his opinion but there is some way to go before he can authentically debunk anything
Ye dopist idhar bhi aa gaya. He may know science but is still illiterate. 😢
I have also seen his other videos... he deeply believes that he knows a lot... but, in reality he knows nothing and have a very surface level knowledges about all the things he takes up!
Facts over feelings!!
Exactly my point! You may know a lot of stuff but your ego and arrogance will soon catch up. He is a fool.
Good podcast! But I don’t need to hear the occasional water drinking ASMR.
lol for a 2 minute question on how he started he gave a 10 minute answer which never clearly answered the basic question. 😂😂
Stop getting into fraudsters.
Btw the host sounds very uneducated... did you really not know that table eggs are unfertilised or are you over reacting?
@52:04 - WHAT !! - absolutely CRINGE acting.
Whoever is drinking please mute yourself.
Title is so hard and ignorant.you are not an Ayurveda expert, how can you be so confident about this negative title?
Also, i do not understand people's obsession with science. Our knowledge about things evolve with time. For example, nobody knew the dangers of white sugar 60 years ago. Cigerette smoking was also socially and medically accepted.
Uh ! Crazy old man 😐🙄
WTF is gulping sound and stomach sounds in between
so damn annoying
Arey itna faltu extra bol rahe hain…. Content is less and the podcast is so lengthy…. Can’t follow unnecessary talk till for almost half hour…
Content creators must look into it… I appreciate the intention but people like to listen to important concentrated knowledge not your whole interaction for hours.
Faltu bakawas jyada hai
Waste of time
You yourself are bakwaas I think
I feel like people want to be vegetarian or nonvegetarian or somewhere between it is their personal choice and that's only how it should be this is only what I want to say at the end
And also there is one request that please change the title of the video it's a little offensive..
Ayurved ka A bhi nhi aata isse. Aya bada . Na five elements ki samajh hai na point pr baat karna duniya bhar ki bak bak.
What are five elements ?
Ridiculous title about ayurveda , ayurveda doesn't actually suggest detox it suggest " langhana " which is done during some specific diseased condition as the first line of treatment further
medicines are also used . *Try to remove the word "ayurveda" From your title let it be just detox which is modern terminology not our ancient science.
A classic case of debunking a brand of pseudo science to endorse another brand of pseudo science. This is nothing but promotion of Own prejudiced beliefs by branding then as a science
#stopvivekbindra
Hindi me kiya karo yr
Milk was boiled even 5000 thousand years back. And even today we boil raw milk and drink. That is pasteurisation. So sir, please don't misguide people with half knowledge.
U think, ancient people were moron.
I think you are against your own culture
And btw it is not just about the generations not accepting changes... even there are umpteen places in Trivandrum I been to where they cook delicious food in wood fire vegetarian or non vegetarian which cannot be matched by foods cooked in any new gadgets or methods on taste or flavor....same hold true with why they have wood fired ovens in usa etc we find in some of those restuarants...and even using coal or wood barbecues etc...
.
Dumb. Mustard & Cumin are Ayurvedic digestives. Not for oil temperature.
In what quantities are they required for digestion ? Like is this anecdotal or is there scientific evidence that a certain quantity is needed
@@108gi5 AYURVEDA. Study.
I guess time stamps are wrong
Yaa man😮
Please my guy my grandmother was lactose intolerant I get gassy drinking milk
The guest is correct on almost everything. However, he has a stereotypical 'I know it all' vibe. He gets irritating after a while.
