Cool video as usual although I did chuckle a little when you said a lovely vintage bulova but I've just got to buff out the plastic ,probably saffire crystal and worth testing for gold .
@@simonyallop1488 Forsure usually they are marked clearly 14k on the back. With that said I found a 19k gold watch that was only marked under the strap. The only way to see the marking was to take the strap off
@@vintagesterlingfinds sometimes when it’s thickly plated it can give you a false test, best to hit it with a small file where it won’t show and do the acid test where the material was removed
Hey brotha, UA-cam isn't alerting me on your videos and I have it set for all videos. I see I've missed three videos just wanted to let you know that algorithm is not working well alerting me or showing me new videos. To be honest it kind of pisses me off because although this is a smaller Channel, it is one of the ones I thoroughly enjoy. Ok rant over
I do agree, I do price my items on the higher end as I do give free shipping, and negotiate on prices. It is hard for me to do that because I always upload my videos on the same day as recording. Most of the item I have featured in past videos have sold for the amounts I have stated
A lot of exciting cool stuff, 14 K earring hidden in there. 👍
Yes I was shocked, I thought it was only going to be silver
Great finds. Your channel is Great. Keep hunting
Thank you
Some cool finds. The thrift stores in your area are definitely better than the ones close to me.
Where’s your location? I’m in Vancouver Canada
Would like a video about creating an etsy account. How much personal info you have to give, banking info requirements, etc.
Ok thank you
That stone in the pendant is probably Moisanite… just under diamond in hardness. Actually harder to find too.

Another cool video.
Thank you friend

Thanks, it is a plastic crystal, and I did test it for gold. Honestly I have seen 100 vintage bulova watches and only 2 of them were gold
@@vintagesterlingfinds ok wasn't sure and worth testing you never know as people don't always know what they are selling

Yea Charlie
Thanks big guy
oh man this was a good one!
Thanks busy day for me
That first bracelet shure looks nickel silver /Alpaca/ German silver to me, but good score on that big chunky gold earring 👍
Thanks, I think someone cleaned it with comet. I did acid test it, and it is silver. My guess is maybe Mexican

@@Kev-N42000 yes I have had that issue before. That’s why I always test on a corner. Because corners wear first
was it a diamond??? great content as usual
I believe so, I am intermediate, not an expert

Sorry about that. I have heard other UA-camrs say the same thing. No one knows how the algorithm works
Dude get a diamond tester already!
Hahaha I feel you, but the cheap ones are not accurate
Yea bud very expensive for one
It’s not the price for me, it’s the fact that even a $500 one can’t tell the difference between a diamond and a cz
Your evaluations are typically a bit high - can you show us your final "sold" amounts?

@@fabulousfinds1045 thank you
@@vintagesterlingfinds Yeah I would say that ladies Dumai should be more in the range of $75-100 than $200
@@ASWCo09 ok thanks
Much easier to test silver with 18k acid then with the silver acid
True I do it both ways. I just feel sometimes with a heavily plated item 18k acid gives a false positive
Get a diamond tester
Ok I will soon
Are you on Instagram would you consider trading any of your watches
