@@premjitchowdhury262Well.. it's one thing to excel in a Kid's Quiz show and a whole other thing to be an IAS, IITian, an Ivy league uni grad, VP of one of the world's largest public transportation company and being a Minister. Such an experienced person will bring out expertise from different sectors that will be used to create a better system. Of course, if you're leading something like VP, MD or Minister, you need to know everything about it. You need to be an expert in that field. I'm more than sure that Lalu wasn't an expert in the public transportation system.l, neither was Mamta.
I've had the opportunity to work with few Ivy league clients in Merill Lynch and let me tell you that these people are of the smartest people I've ever met. Such clarity in decision making is commendable.

There are many educated ministers in cabinet but without clear vision for your country education is wastage for a minister bcz ministers don't do research in lab. there work is to promote research. It can be done by uneducated minister also but with great vision.
A educated person may have knowledge of only few fields so great vision is most required thing for politicians to promote every thing in favor of the country.
I am not saying education is not important
but only education should not be seen while voting a minister.

Imagine being a CTO of a company who has never seen Linux Terminal in his entire life or Senior Technical Architect who can write a single line of code or a research lead who has no research experience. It's the perfect recipe for disaster.
Resolution to drive progress in a direction will easily come if you know what you're doing. You have a set of expectations and end goals and you can trace your progress and any deviation from it. Do you really think a minister just mindlessly approves a bunch of random projects by signing it and doing no leadership work?
I mean can you expect this exact thing to be explained by Lalu or Mamata even...It requires decades of technical skills just to understand how these wafers of Silicon process binary data.
Research can be promoted by a illeterate now doubt but to segregate what to be promoted and what not and preapre a priority order is where the expertise comes into play, otherwise you'll be puppet to your department's agenda...just mindlessly signing papers becuase a 'Expert' in the department said so...

The minimum standard thickness of a human nail is .397mm, 1 millimeter is equal to 1000000 nanometers so mathematically we can say it is 2519th of the fingernail thickness!
3nm is the gate size for processor manufacturing while Memory is usually manufactured at bigger sizes than 7nm so much of the information shared by the Minister is incorrect.
In India, Micron plans to establish an Assembly and Test facility, which means that Silicon Wafers will not be manufactured in India.
He is trying to educate laymen. And it is very true all our top notch VLSI And embedded engineers are travelled abroad to find opportunities. We don’t have chip manufacturing now but this initiative will give the result hopefully in next 5 yrs

It is very wise for Govt to setup infra and R&D for semiconductor FAB in India. This will enable us to be part of this backbone of supply chain collaboration and boost high quality manufacturing in our country itself. 👌

ASML and Micron do different things, they are not competitors.
ASML just makes EUV machines. then companies like Micron uses their machines for chip manufacturing.
so as a chip producer, micron is a Competitor to TSMC and not ASML.

yes, and the accident unfortunately, that area, didnt have a Kavach system, the implementation takes time, India is a BIG country, doesnt mean that Kavach System on itself, is bad... if we face 1 failure and remove the minister just coz the unfortunate thing happened in his/her tenure, and stop a competent hardworking man from working for the country that too as a MINISTER (whereas had it been a normal NETA, he would not have even cared what happened to the victims, let alone develop such a system from scratch within India), and spread negative bais against an HONEST willingly hardworking man, then if thats what you meant my friend, then you need to learn a lot... a LOT...
I just hope that he stays as Railways and IT Minister longer, he will ensure that the Indian population gets the best things, and the guilt he must be having currently of losing his citizens, could be cured, in a revolutionary way, such that another train accidence never happens in India... we need Ashwini Vaishnav to stay, we need S Jaishankar to stay, we need Nitin Gadkari to stay...
